- Abstract
- This paper is to verify the design of a system suitable for a micro grid environment combining a vertical wind turbine with a mobile communication base station antenna. The blade was designed as NACA 0012 for vertical wind turbines. The basic design was done by 3D modeling. Using the designed 3D modeling, torque and power were calculated by numerical analysis using computational fluid dynamics method. The torque and power were compared for two cases of analysis of the wind turbine and addition of the antenna structure to the wind turbine. For the analysis of the wind turbine, wind speed was classified into 6 ~ 12 ㎧ and 100 ~ 500 RPM. In the case of an antenna structure at 10㎧ wind speed, average torque is reduced by 91% and power by 94% compared to the basic performance of a wind turbine. With an antenna structure, the Power increased at a rotational speed of 150 RPM
