- Abstract
- To analyze the characteristics of subway passengers in Gwangju Subway Line 1, this study analyzed the usage patterns of subscribers by time of day and classified them into three types according to subway stations. Type A has a large influx at the time of AM peak and PM peak. Type B has a large influx at the time AM peak due to commuters and a lot of outflux at the time of PM peak and at night. Type C has a lot of outflux at the time of AM peak and in the morning, and a lot of influx at the time of PM peak. As for the type of building use, type A is analyzed with high utilization characteristics of industrial use, type B is residential type, and type C is hybrid type which is highly analyzed by commercial, business, educational welfare, and culture, etc. From the analysis of the characteristics of building use in the subway station area, this study attempts to derive an effective management plan by presenting a management method of the subway station areas considering the practical use of the urban space, reflecting the reality that the supply of subway in the local city is expanding.
