- Abstract
- Aperture coupled microstrip antenna with step slots for dual ISM band is proposed in this paper. The proposed antenna is useful for 2.4GHz and 5GHz ISM band and its radiation element is a rectangular patch with a pair of step-slot. By using FDTD method, parameters of the antenna structure is analysed and then the optimal design values is obtained. Analysed result of S11 for the proposed antenna is compared with HFSS result. It is able to verify that the proposed antenna is valuable enough to be used in communications such as NFC, DSRC.
