- Abstract
- In this research, the concrete was produced at the curing temperature of 50℃and 85℃ by activating relatively low recycled F class fly ash with an alkaline active solution mixed with sodium hydroxide, water glass and water. The compressive strength, bending strength and splitting tensile strength of the produced concrete were experimented according to the curing time and age, and the correlations with each strength were examined. Also these were compared with normal concrete using portland cement. The results have announced shown that the compressive strength, bending strength and splitting tensile strength of the alkali activated cement(AAC) concrete are the most effective condition on a curing temperature of 85℃ and curing time of 24 hours. And the splitting tensile strength of AAC concrete is superior to normal concrete and its bending strength is not inferior much as well.
