- Abstract
- The aim of this study was to evaluate the shrinkage stresses and shear bond strengths of various domestic composite resins by comparing them using Filtek Z-250TM (3M ESPE, USA). In this study, nine domestic composite resins from various manufacturers, Any-ComTM (Mediclus, Korea), Charmfilsup<®>/supPlus (Dentkist, Korea), DenfilTM (Vericom, Korea), ESCom 100sup<®>/sup (Spident, Korea), Hanfilsup<®>/sup (Han Dae Chemical, Korea), Nexcompsup<®>/sup (Metasup<®>/sup Biomed, Korea), Transcensup<®>/sup (Nexobio, Korea), Xsfilsup<®>/sup (B&E Korea, Korea), and Zircos- Comsup<®>/sup (Bioden, Korea), were set as experimental groups and Filtek Z-250TM was set as the control. Of the studied domestic resins, Filtek Z-250TM exhibited the lowest shrinkage stress (p<0.05). ESCom 100sup<®>/sup, Charmfilsup<®>/sup Plus, and Hanfilsup<®>/sup showed shear bond strengths comparable with that of Filtek Z-250TM, whereas the other domestic composite resins exhibited lower shear bond strengths (p<0.05).
