- Abstract
- It goes without saying that there are students with different abilities in a classroom. Therefore, students will have a different understanding of the contents to learn even though they have the same lesson experience. Implementing instructions with them, teachers should create situations that allow for a wide range of understandings. To do this, students must deal with the tasks with various entry and exit points. Given that, the purpose of this study was to present such tasks designed for the mixed-ability group--“Today’s Number,” “Pig Game 1: Addition,” and “Pig Game 2: Subtraction.”Through the data analyses, the study suggested that the learning tasks in the mixed-ability group should allow students to enter the learning experiences at their own level of abilities and exit the activities according to their own achievement.
