소녀의 감성을 형상화한 도자인형 연구

Abstract

This paper is a ceramic doll study that embodies a girl's tender sensibility in search of a new de-objet that pursues formativeism. Looking at the trend of ceramic crafts, most of them are works to contain things such as bowls, plates, vases, and jars. Looking at this ceramic craft trend, I tried to express something new, not existing, through the work of a researcher who saw it. While looking for something new, I was able to project the emotional part into the work. Among the various emotions that humans can feel, the researcher was able to find out the soft and pure emotions of humans that he had forgotten in the harsh modern society. Pure sensibility brings to mind the image of a girl. However, when I think of the image of a girl today, I feel awkward and distant because technology has outpaced human emotions too much. The girl's tender and innocent sensibility was expressed through her work 'Soft Sensibility'. Therefore, this researcher first considers emotional design expressions and pottery dolls. To understand emotional design, I tried to understand the definition and characteristics of emotion. Emotions vary from one object to another and vary over time and environment. Emotional characteristics are divided into three categories: environmental factors, temporal factors, and subjective factors. By identifying the definition and characteristics of emotion, we established the concepts of emotion, which allowed us to study more deeply about emotional design. Next, we looked at the types of pottery dolls, changes, and characteristics of pottery dolls. The types of pottery dolls are divided into Bisque Doll and Porcelain Doll. Bisque stones are dolls with matte characteristics without glaze, while Porcelain stones are widely used to describe dolls made of ceramic soil. The characteristics and changes of pottery dolls were found and analyzed in ancient, modern, and contemporary ceramics. Examples include the Qin Shi Huang Tomb, Dang Samchae, Maisen Figurein and Yardro. The following is a look at the shaping of girl images. The concept of a girl and the image of a girl in the present era were established, and the image of a girl through coffee commercials, ion drinks commercials, and soda commercials was classified as a girl's image. And the artists and works that influenced this researcher's work were identified through a case study. The works were divided into ceramic figures using traditional clothes, ceramic figures through trophies, paintings through girl images, and illustrations through girl images. If you look inside these four topics, you can see at a glance how the researcher was affected by the work. Finally, we describe the representation of this researcher's work based on the work we have described so far. First, the researcher's work 'Soft Sensibility' means 'soft sensibility'. It is because of this soft emotion that makes me feel heartbroken and sad when I encounter the pure and tender feelings of the heroine of the short story "Downpour." In this study, soft emotions are expressed in various forms, but through the image of a girl, we tried to find a soft and pure emotion that was not refined and contaminated. Secondly, four keywords were drawn out: girl, soft sensibility, shape, and ceramic expression in line with the thesis's theme of pottery study, which embodies a girl's sensibility. Through this keyword, we were able to start producing pottery dolls based on the girl's delicate and pure emotions. And it was designed to make viewers feel natural without awkwardness by utilizing the results of the preceding study. To be natural means to be perfect formative. There have been numerous efforts and processes by this researcher to complete the perfect formative beauty. Third, he sketched a ceramic figure through rendering and began to make prototypes and plaster molds. The circular production was made by cutting plaster and attaching yuto, and the plaster mold was made based on the original form. Next, the slip was poured into the plaster mold and the slip circle was taken out, trimmed, and attached repeatedly to complete the pottery shape. Various changes could be attempted through the process of trimming and pasting, and various pottery dolls were produced through various changes. Fourth, the slip prototype was made through the kiln. Plasticity is divided into primary plasticity, secondary plasticity, and tertiary plasticity. In the process, the dry slip prototype is first plasticized at 850℃, and the objects that have been completed first plasticity are refined through sandpaper. The work was then completed through the second firing (1250℃) through glaze sampling, and finally through the third firing (800℃) after gold coating. In response, the researcher described the new mask object, which broke away from the original object, as a ceramic doll depicting the girl's sensibility. The ultimate goal is to open a wide world of works by presenting new de-objet works through this study to ceramic crafts that have been together from the past to the present.|본 논문은 조형성을 추구하는 새로운 탈 오브제를 찾아 소녀의 여린 감성을 형상화하여 제작된 도자인형 연구이다. 도자공예의 트랜드를 보면 그릇, 접시, 화병, 항아리 등 무엇을 담기 위한 작품들이 대부분이다. 이러한 도자공예 트랜드를 보고 기존의 것이, 아닌 새로운 무언가를 본 연구자의 작품을 통해 나타내고자 하였다. 새로운 무언가를 찾던 중 감성적인 부분을 작품 속에 투영하게 되었다. 인간이 느낄 수 있는 다양한 감성 중에서 본 연구자는 각박한 현대사회 속에서 잊어버린 인간의 여리고 순수한 감성들을 찾아낼 수 있었다. 순수한 감성은 소녀의 이미지를 떠오르게 한다. 하지만 오늘날 소녀의 이미지를 떠올리면 어색함과 거리감이 느껴지는데 그 이유는 기술에 속도가 인간의 감성을 너무 많이 앞질러왔기 때문이다. 이 소녀의 여리고 순수한 감성을 ‘Soft Sensibility’라는 작품을 통해 표현하였다. 이에 본 연구자는 먼저 감성디자인 표현과 도자인형을 고찰한다. 감성디자인을 알기 위해 감성의 정의 및 특징을 파악해보았다. 감성은 하나의 대상으로부터 개인에 따라 다양하게 나타나며 시간과 환경에 따라서도 변화한다. 감성의 특징은 ‘환경적 요인’, ‘시간적 요인’, ‘주관적 요인’ 이렇게 3가지로 나뉜다. 이렇게 감성의 정의 및 특징을 파악함으로서 감성에 대한 개념들을 확립하였고 이것을 통해 감성디자인에 대해 더 깊이 연구할 수 있었다. 다음으로 도자인형의 종류, 도자인형의 변천 및 특징을 알아보았다. 도자인형의 종류는 비스크 돌(Bisque Doll)과 포슬린 돌(Porcelain Doll)로 나뉜다. 비스크 돌은 유약을 바르지 않고 무광택의 특성을 지닌 인형이고 포슬린 돌은 도자기 흙으로 만든 인형을 총괄하여 표현하는 말이다. 도자인형의 변천 및 특징 부분에서는 고대, 근현대사, 현대에서 제작된 도자인형들을 찾고 분석하였다. 대표적인 예로 진시황릉 병마용, 당삼채, 마이센 피겨린 그리고 야드로를 볼 수 있다. 다음은 소녀 이미지의 형상화에 대해 살펴보았다. 소녀에 대한 개념과 현시대에 보여지고있는 소녀를 통해 소녀 이미지를 정립하고 커피 광고, 이온음료 광고, 탄산음료 광고를 통한 소녀의 모습을 소녀의 형상화로 분류하여 설명하였다. 그리고 본 연구자의 작품에 영향을 준 작가들과 작품들을 작품 사례 분석을 통해 알아보았다. 작품들은 전통복식을 활용한 도자인형, 트로피를 통한 도자인형, 소녀 이미지를 통한 회화작품, 소녀 이미지를 통한 일러스트로 구분지어 주었다. 이 4가지 주제 속을 들여다보면 본 연구자가 작품을 통해 어떠한 영향을 받았는지 한 눈으로 알아볼 수 있다. 마지막으로 지금까지 설명한 연구를 바탕으로 본 연구자의 작품 표현을 설명한다. 첫 번째, 본 연구자의 작품 ‘Soft Sensibility’란 ‘여린 감성’을 의미한다. 단편소설의 ‘소나기’ 여주인공의 순수하고 여린 감정을 접하게 된다면 가슴 아파하고 안타까워하는 마음이 드는 것은 바로 이 부드러운 감성 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 모습으로 부드러운 감성이 표현되고 있지만, 소녀의 이미지를 통하여 정제되지 않고 오염되지 않는 여리고 순수한 감성을 찾고자 하였다. 두 번째, 소녀의 감성을 형상화한 도자인형 연구라는 논문 주제에 맞춰 소녀, 여린감성, 형상화, 도자표현이라는 4가지 키워드를 뽑아내었다. 이 키워드를 통해 소녀의 여리고 순수한 아름다운 감성을 바탕으로 도자인형 제작을 시작할 수 있었다. 그리고 선행연구를 통한 결과물들을 활용해 어색하지 않고 보는 사람으로 하여금 자연스러울 수 있도록 디자인하였다. 자연스럽다는 것은 완벽한 조형미를 뜻한다. 완벽한 조형미를 완성시키기 위해 본 연구자의 수많은 노력과 과정이 있었다. 세 번째, 랜더링을 통한 도자인형의 스케치를 하고 원형제작 및 석고 틀 제작에 들어갔다. 원형제작은 석고 원형을 깎아 유토를 붙여서 완성하였고 석고 틀은 만들어진 원형을 토대로 철저한 계산을 통해 제작되었다. 다음으로 석고 틀에 슬립을 붓고 슬립 원형을 꺼내어 다듬고 붙여주기를 반복하여 도자인형을 완성시켰다. 다듬고 붙여주는 과정을 통해 다양한 변화를 시도할 수 있었고 다양한 변화를 통해 다양한 도자인형을 만들어내었다. 네 번째, 만들어진 슬립 원형을 가마를 통해 소성하였다. 소성은 1차 소성, 2차 소성, 3차 소성으로 나누어 진행한다. 진행 과정은 건조가 완료된 슬립 원형을 850℃에 1차 소성하고 1차 소성이 완료된 기물들은 사포질을 통해 다듬어준다. 그다음 유약 시유를 통해 2차 소성(1250℃)을 거쳐주고 마지막으로 금칠 후 3차 소성(800℃)을 통해 작품이 완성되었다. 이에 본 연구자는 기존의 오브제를 탈피한 새로운 탈 오브제를 소녀의 감성을 형상화한 도자인형으로 나타내었다. 과거부터 현재까지 함께해온 도자공예에 본 연구를 통한 새로운 탈 오브제 작품을 제시함으로서 폭넓은 작품세계를 열어가도록 하는 것이 궁극적인 목적이다.
