Abstract
This study analyzes the effect of human rights sensitivity of workers in welfare facilities for the disabled on human rights awareness. And it verifies the moderating effect of human rights education experience in the relationship of influence. The purpose of this study is to explore educational measures to improve the human rights sensitivity of workers in welfare facilities for the disabled. The purpose is to present basic data for reinforcing the effect of human rights awareness and human rights sensitivity on the abuse of persons with disabilities through human rights education of workers.
As a result of the study, the following conclusions were drawn.
First, as a result of a regression analysis of the effect of human rights sensitivity on the right to equality and survival of human rights consciousness, it was found to be statistically significant.
Second, it was found that human rights education plays a controlling role in human rights sensitivity and human rights awareness (equal rights, right to live) of workers at welfare facilities for the disabled. However, it was found that human rights education did not play a regulating role in human rights sensitivity and human rights consciousness (freedom and social rights).
Based on these research conclusions, the implications are as follows.
First, it can be seen that human rights education is necessary because it is said that the major difference in human rights sensitivity and recognition of human rights issues is the experience in human rights education.
Second, it is necessary to improve the human rights awareness of the disabled, which is the ultimate goal of improving the human rights sensitivity of seed companies of welfare facilities for the disabled. To this end, it is necessary to develop a step-by-step and systematic human rights education program for persons with disabilities appropriate to the characteristics and level of disability and to actively educate persons with disabilities.
Third, it is necessary to accurately analyze the human rights sensitivity of workers at welfare facilities for the disabled by developing a measuring tool for the human rights sensitivity indicators currently developed in Korea only with the human rights situation directly related to the disabled.
Finally, it is necessary to prepare practical plans so that specific and empirical studies on variables that affect the improvement of human rights for the disabled can be applied to the welfare field by activating human rights-related research.
