오매광주 일본어 홈페이지 오류사례연구

Abstract

본 연구는 광주광역시 문화관광 포털 홈페이지인 [오매광주]의 일본어 홈페이지에서 나타난 오류를 다루는 논문이다. 본고에서는 오매광주 일본어 홈페이지의 오류를 1. 구성의 오류, 2. 언어적 오류로 분류하고, 분석된 오류를 기계번역과의 비교를 통해 인간에 의한 오류(Human Error)와 기계에 의한 오류(Machine Error)으로 구분하였다. 구성의 오류에서는 홈페이지 구성 자체의 문제와, 잘못된 번역어의 사용, 본문페이지 구성의 문제, 제목과 다른 내용이 삽입된 문제가 나타났다. 홈페이지 구성의 문제는 이러한 문제점을 서울특별시, 일본 도쿄도 관광홈페이지와 비교하고, 각각 홈페이지의 장단점에 비추러 수정제안을 하였다. 잘못된 언어사례에서는 일본어 홈페이지에서 일문으로 작성되지 않은 레이아웃과 페이지들을 소개하고, 번역문을 병기하였다. 본문 페이지의 구성에서는 본문의 디자인적인 문제를 보고, 개선사항을 제시하였다. 마지막으로, 제목과 다른 내용과 본문의 내용이 누락된 페이지를 소개하였다. 번역사례에서는 오매광주 일본어 홈페이지에서 사례들을 선별하여 분석, 오류 유형에 따라 분류하고, 수정문을 제시하였다. 국문의 분석기준은 『표준국어대사전』, 『고려대한국어사전』, 『민족문화대백과』, 『2012 외국어 관광안내표기 용례집』을 참조하였고, 일문의 분석기준은 일본 아사히신문에서 제공하는 일본어 사전 서비스인 코토방크[コトバンク]에 기초하였다. 기계번역과의 비교는 한국에서 서비스중인 번역 사이트 「구글 번역」,「파파고」,「카카오 번역」을 이용하였고, 기계번역시 나타나는 오류와 비교하여, 본문의 오류가 인간에 의한 오류인지, 기계번역에 따른 오류인지 판별하였다. 기계번역과의 비교를 통해 오매광주 홈페이지의 번역오류문제는 기계번역의 오류(Machine Error)보다는 인간에 의한 휴먼에러(Human Error)의 비중이 높다는 사실을 알아냈다. 문화재와 관광지의 번역은 기계적·사무적인 접근이 아닌, 영어, 일본어, 중국어와 같은 외국어 전공자와 국문학자, 역사학자, 5.18 학자와 같은 여러 전문가들의 체계적인 협업이 동반되어야 한다는 점을 주장하였다. 본 연구 분석 자료와 결과를 바탕으로 광주광역시를 포함한 국내 문화관광 홈페이지의 번역품질에 대한 관심이 증대하고, 불완전한 번역문에 대한 오류를 수집, 분석하여 보다 충실한 번역작업이 이루어지길 바란다. | This study is a thesis of errors in the Japanese homepage of Omae Gwangju, the homepage of Gwangju's cultural tourism portal. In this thetis, errors in the Japanese homepage of Omae Gwangju are classified as 1. errors in composition and 2. Japanese translation errors, and the analyzed errors are compared with machine translation to determine human errors and machine errors. In the composition error, there were problems with the composition of the homepage itself, the use of incorrect translated words, the composition of the pages, and the problem mismatch between the title and contents. The problem of homepage composition was compared with tourism websites of Seoul and Tokyo and revised proposals were made in light of the strengths and weaknesses of each website. In the case of the wrong language, layouts and pages that were not written in Japanese were introduced on the Japanese homepage, and translated texts were also included. In the composition of the main page, the design problem of the main body was reported and improvement items were suggested. Introduced the page where the title and other content and the content of the body were missing. In the case of translation, cases were selected on the Omae Gwangju Japanese homepage, analyzed, classified according to error type, and revised text was presented. For the analysis criteria in Korean, refer to 『Standard Korean Dictionary』, 『Korea University Korean Dictionary』, 『Encyclopedia of National Culture』, 『2012 Foreign Language Tour Guide Marking Use Case』. It was based on the in kotobank [コトバンク]. For comparison with machine translation, we used the translation sites “Google Translate”, “Papago”, and “Kakao Translation”, which are being serviced in Korea. It was determined whether it was an error due to translation. Through comparison with machine translation, it was found that the translation error problem of Omae Gwangju's homepage is more of human error caused by human than machine error. He argued that the translation of cultural properties and tourist destinations should not be a mechanical or clerical approach, but should be accompanied by systematic collaboration of foreign language majors such as English, Japanese, and Chinese, as well as various experts such as Korean literature scholars, historians, and 5.18 scholars. Based on the analysis data and results of this study, I hope that interest in the quality of translation of domestic cultural tourism homepages including Gwangju Metropolitan City will increase, and more faithful translation work will be accomplished by collecting and analyzing errors in incomplete translations.
