건축적 내러티브 공간개념을 적용한 숭례문 역사공원 계획에 관한 연구

Abstract

A Study on the Application of Architectural Narrative Spatial Concepts in the Planning of the Sungnyemun Historical Park Kim Tae Won Advisor : Prof. Shin Woong Ju Department of Architecture, Graduate School of Chosun University Reviving the culture does not only mean keeping it safe, mending and reproducing. It must include how the values will be shown to people, how to make people will acknowledge the cultural assets, because that is the way to communicate between the past and the present. It's been three years since Sungnyemun has been set on fire. People has already started to forget about the accident. It is already on the step to be duplicated, surrounded by the assembles of pannels. In this situation, it is clear Sungnyemun be under unconcern by the citizens even if it is restored. In this report, to find out the way to make the citizens communicate with Sungnyemun, feng sui is used to emphasize the importance of the history and the meaning of the site where it is located. The historical location and the space of the historical assets might seem a bit unfamiliar with today. To make this more clear, the definition to the location is needed. The definition of the location does not mean the real environment the place holds, it is the actual space people behave, the relationship between them, and together with the time spent, it is the history as wells as the memoirs. The citizen's unconcern might be what leaded to the fire set on Sungnyemun which is in the middle of the city. To not let this kind of accident happen again, a medium is needed to have people's awareness drawn towards to Sungnyemun. Therefore memorial is suggested to let it reawake the value of Sungnyemun. Memorial that hold the value and the historical meaning is run by people to have people think of the history and the importance of the historical assets.
