- A Study on the Practice of Sports Violence Culture and Football Trial Activities Lee dae-ro Advisor : Prof. Kim Ok-Ju Ph.D. Major in Physical Education Graduate School of Education, Chosun University The purpose of this study is to provide basic data on the desirable soccer referee activity process for new referees who will be responsible for the Korean soccer community in the future by analyzing and identifying cases and impacts of sports violence in the referee activity process. Participants in this study selected 11 soccer referees from the Jeonnam Football Association, who were members of the Korea Football Association who had experienced sports violence. In order to analyze the opinions of the study participants in detail and in-depth, data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observations during qualitative studies, and semi-structured interviews used for in-depth interviews were used, and the results of the collected data are as follows. First, the participants of this study desperately appealed that sports violence they experience and feel should never be inflicted, that they should create systematic and specific program activities to alert soccer referees, and that changes in the perception and respect of soccer referees are needed. Second, the participants of this study mentioned that appropriate intervention and counseling are needed for soccer referees who are suffering from extreme stress and mental pain due to stress and aftereffects from sports violence. Third, the participants of this study mentioned that it is a good way to connect a professional counseling center to receive expert counseling, but active intervention such as a sports violence support program for soccer referees is necessary. Fourth, the participants of this study suggested problems and ways to improve sports violence in soccer referees, and noted that if the human rights of soccer referees are not guaranteed, the culture of sports violence is daily and customary, and the lack of prior education to prevent Korea. As a result, various applications and applications are needed for soccer players who make up the soccer world, away from the view that the problems of soccer referee sports violence are passed on only to soccer referees, and more systematic and specific education, including psychological counseling on grievances that cannot be solved directly, should be provided. In conclusion, all those who love soccer around them, not the efforts of individual soccer referees who have experienced sports violence, should work together to form a desirable and positive soccer referee culture. More specific and systematic improvement measures should be prepared for soccer referees who will be stressed and worried about retirement due to such mental pain, and future research should continue focusing on soccer referees who have experienced sports violence.
