간호대학생의 윤리적 민감성과 간호전문직관이 연명의료 중단 태도에 미치는 영향

Abstract

목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 윤리적 민감성과 간호전문직관이 연명의료 중단 태도에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 시도되었다

방법 : 본 연구의 자료수집은 G광역시에 소재한 3개의 4년제 대학교에서 2022년 9월 15일부터 9월 30일까지 수행되었다. 자료 분석에는 기술통계, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression으로 SPSS 27프로그램을 이용해 분석되었다.

결과 : 본 연구의 간호대학생의 윤리적 민감성의 평균은 3.44점, 간호전문직관은 평균 4.08점이었고, 마지막으로 연명의료 중단 태도의 평균은 3.12점이었다. 연명의료 중단 태도에 유의한 영향을 준 변수는 간호의 독자성(β=-0.11, p=.006)과 임상실습 경험(β=0.21, p=.008)이었다. 모형설명력은 12.9%였다.

결론 : 본 연구는 간호대학생의 윤리적 민감성과 간호전문직관이 연명의료 중단 태도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 시도되었다. 본 연구에서 간호의 독자성과 임상실습 경험이 연명의료 중단 태도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 간호대학생이 간호사가 되었을 때 대상자의 연명의료 결정 과정에서 올바른 역할수행을 하기 위해 교과과정에서 간호의 독자성을 고려한 연명의료와 관련된 임상현장의 다양한 사례를 기반한 간호교육프로그램 개발이 필요하다고 사료된다. |Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examime the influence of ethical sensitivity and nursing professionalism on the attitude toward withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment among nursing students.

Methods: The subject of this study was 110 nursing students attending three university in G city. The data collection was conducted from September 15 to September 30, 2022. Descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression were used with IBM SPSS Statistics 27 program for data analysis.

Result: The mean score were for ethical sensitivity, 3.44, for nursing professionalism, 4.08, for attitude toward withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment , 3.12. Attitude toward withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment was significantly influenced by the uniqueness of nursing(β=-0.11, p=.006), and clinical practice experience(β=0.21, p=.008). The explanatory power of the model was 12.9%.

Conclusion: The results show that uniqueness of nursing, clinical practice experience of nursing students are important for attitude toward withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment. Therefore, when a nursing university student becomes a nurse, it is necessary to develop a nursing education program based on various cases of clinical practice related to life-sustaining treatment considering the uniqueness of nursing in the curriculum to play a correct role in the subject's life-sustaining treatment decision process.
