Abstract
This study attempted to examine the influence of family-friendly organizational support and family-friendly commercial support in terms of work-life balance for medical personnel in hospitals. Reflecting job calling, prosperity, and job burnout, family-friendly organizational support and family-friendly boss support were explained as a sense of prosperity, and the context of lowering job burnout was explained as a sense of job burnout.
A total of 249 surveys were conducted on nursing workers working at hospitals in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeollanam-do, administrative and medical engineers other than nursing workers, to verify the hypothesis of occupational effect, mediating effect, control effect, and controlled mediating effect.
The analysis results of this study are summarized as follows. First, family-friendly commercial support had a significant positive (+) influence on the sense of prosperity. However, family-friendly organizational support did
not have a significant influence on the sense of prosperity. Second, the sense of prosperity showed a significant negative (-) influence on job burnout.
Third, based on the relationship between family-friendly organizational support, boss support and prosperity, and the relationship between prosperity and job exhaustion, the relationship between family-friendly boss support and job exhaustion was examined. However, there was no mediating effect of a sense of prosperity in the relationship between family-friendly organizational support and job burnout.
Fourth, the moderating effect of the sense of occupational calling was shown in the relationship between prosperity and job burnout. In other words, when the sense of occupational calling was high, the influence of wealth (-) in which the sense of prosperity lowered job burnout was higher.
Finally, in relation to the moderated mediation considering both the mediating effect of prosperity and the moderating effect of vocational calling, the mediating effect of prosperity was being adjusted to the vocational calling consciousness in the relationship between family-friendly supervisory support and job burnout. In other words, the mediating effect of a sense of prosperity was higher when the sense of occupational calling was high.
