한국 청소년에서 가정형태와 건강행태와의 관련성

Abstract

Objectives: This study was performed to identify the relationship between family type and health behaviors in Korean adolescents. Methods: The data of the 17th Youth Health Behavior Survey was utilized, and the study participants were a total of 41,551 students who agreed to answer the questions on the home environment area. Family types were classified into general and broken family based on whether they lived together with their parents, and the relationship was identified between family types and adolescents' health behaviors such as smoking, drinking, sexual experience, smartphone use, obesity, and physical activities. The data of this study were analyzed by applying a complex sample design, and the results of the study variables were provided as estimated percentages and standard errors. Complex sample chi-square test and multiple sample logistic regression analysis were performed, and the significance level of statistical analysis was set at a=0.05. Results: As a result of the study, 85.7% of adolescents' families were general families and 14.3% were broken families. Health behaviors such as smoking, drinking, sexual experience, smartphone use, and obesity were significantly higher in adolescents from broken families than those from general families. As a result of multiple logistic regression analysis, odds ratios for smoking behavior, drinking behavior, sexual experience, smartphone use, and obesity in adolescents from broken families were statistically significantly higher than those from general families. Conclusions: In conclusion, adolescents from broken families often have undesirable health behaviors, and are more likely to be exposed to high-risk groups than adolescents from general families. Depending on the type of family, the main caregiver's active intervention through guidance and encouragement for the healthy behaviors is required, and it is necessary to prepare the direct psychological and behavioral support through the development of supporting programs in the community and continuous counseling program, which may play an alternative role of main caregiver.|본 연구는 한국 청소년들의 가정형태와 건강행태와의 관련성을 파악하기 위해 시행되었으며, 제17차 청소년 건강행태조사 자료를 활용하였고 가정환경영역의 질문 응답에 동의한 학생 41,551명을 연구 대상으로 하였다. 가정형태는 부모와의 동거여부를 근거로 일반가정과 결손가정으로 분류하였고, 가정형태와 청소년의 흡연, 음주, 성경험, 인터넷 사용, 비만, 신체활동 등의 건강행태와의 관련성을 파악하였다. 분석방법은 SPSS 27.0 Ver을 이용하여 복합표본 설계,추정 백분율 및 표준 오차. 복합 표본 카이-제곱 검정 및 다중 표본 로지스틱 회귀 분석이 수행되었으며 유의성 통계 분석 수준은 a=0.05로 설정하였다. 연구결과 결손가정 청소년이 14.3%, 일반가정 청소년은 85.7%였다. 결손가정 청소년에서 흡연, 음주,성경험, 스마트폰 사용빈도가 높았으며, 비만도는 현저히 높았다. 다중 로지스틱 회귀 분석결과, 흡연, 음주, 성경험, 스마트폰 사용, 비만도의 승상비는 결손가정 청소년이 일반가정 청소년들보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다. 결손가정 청소년은 일반가정의 청소년에 비해 건강행태가 바람직하지 않은 경우가 많으며 고위험군에 노출될 가능성이 높음을 알 수 있었다. 가정형태에 따라 주된 양육자의 생활습관의 지도 및 격려의 적극적인 개입이 필요하며 이를 대체할 수 있는 지역사회의 보조적인 프로그램개발과 지속적인 상담을 통한 직접적인 정신적 지지 및 관심이 위험한 환경에 처한 청소년들에게 긍정적인 효과를 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다
