고등학생의 음악흥미도와 학업적 자기효능감 및 학교생활 만족도에 대한 구조모형 검증

Abstract

이 연구의 목적은 음악수업에 참여하는 고등학생을 대상으로 음악흥미도, 학업적 자기효능감, 그리고 학교생활 만족도의 구조적 관계를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 G.광역시에 거주하는 인문계 고등학생 중에서 음악수업에 참여한 359명을 연구대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며, 질문에 대한 응답이 불성실하거나 오류가 있다고 판단된 9부를 제외한 총 350부가 분석에 활용되었다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계 분석, 상관관계 분석, 대응표본 t-검정, 일원변량분석, Scheffe, 측정모형 분석, 구조모형 분석, 그리고 매개효과 분석을 통해 결과를 도출하였다. 분석의 결과는 첫째, 음악수업에 참여하는 고등학생의 음악흥미도, 학업적 자기효능감, 그리고 학교생활 만족도는 인구사회학적 변인(성별, 학년, 주간 음악참여 시간, 학교 구분)에 따라 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 음악수업에 참여하는 고등학생의 음악흥미도는 학업적 자기효능감과 학교생활 만족도에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치고, 학업적 자기효능감은 학교생활 만족도에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 음악흥미도와 학교생활 만족도의 관계에서 학업적 자기효능감은 완전매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구를 통해 음악수업에 참여하는 고등학생의 음악흥미도, 학업적 자기효능감, 그리고 학교생활 만족도는 구조적으로 관계가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 고등학생이 참여하는 음악수업에서는 높은 음악흥미도를 유발할수록 학업적 자기효능감이 향상되어 학교생활에 대한 만족도를 높일 수 있다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 학교 현장에서 고등학생들의 학업적 자기효능감과 학교생활 만족도의 향상을 위해 음악수업을 전략적으로 계획하고 운영하는 환경이 조성되길 기대한다.|The purpose of this study was to verify the structural relationship between music interest, academic self-efficacy, and school life satisfaction for high school students to participate in music classes. In order to achieve this purpose, 359 subjects who had experience participating in music classes while attending high schools in metropolitan city, Gwang-ju, was invited and data was collected. And, a total of 350 copies were used for analysis, except for 9 copies that were judged to have insincere responses or errors. The collected data were derived from result through the corresponding T-test, one-way variance analysis, Scheffe, technical statistics analysis, correlation analysis, measurement model analysis, structural model analysis, and mediating effect analysis. As a result, first, it was confirmed that there was a significant difference in music interest, academic self-efficacy, and school life satisfaction among high school students participating in music classes according to demographic variables (gender, grade, weekly music participation time, school classification). Second, it was found that the music interest for high school students to participate in music classes had a positive effect on academic self-efficacy and school life satisfaction, and academic self-efficacy had a positive effect on school life satisfaction. Finally, third, academic self-efficacy was found to play a complete mediating role in the relationship between the music interest and school life satisfaction. In conclusion, it was confirmed that the music interest, academic self-efficacy, and school life satisfaction for high school students participating in music classes were structurally related. And it was found that academic self-efficacy had a mediating effect in the relationship between the music interest and school life satisfaction. This means that the higher music classes for high school students induce the music interest, the better the academic self-efficacy, which can augment the school life satisfaction. Based on these results, I hoped that an environment where music classes are strategically planned and operated will be made in school field in order to improve academic self-efficacy and school life satisfaction for high school students.
