밀론대학생성격검사(MCCI)를 통한 학사경고자 유형 분석

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 밀론대학생성격검사 유병율 점수로 대학생 학사경고 발생을 예측할 수 있는 요인을 찾아내서 학사경고자 유형을 군집으로 분류하고, 그 유형에 따른 특성이 무엇인지 설명하는 데 있다. 본 연구에서 활용한 조사 자료는 지방 소재 C대학 학생상담센터에서 학사경고를 예방하고 학사경고자의 수요에 맞는 서비스를 지원하고자 하는 실태조사에서 수집된 자료다. 조사 설계 단계에서 대학생 대상 다축검사인 MCCI를 활용한 선별 및 조기개입 방안을 마련하기 위한 설문 문항 및 측정 도구를 추가하였고, 2021년 2월, 2021년 8월, 2021년 9월 중에 각각 온라인으로 실시되었다. 설문을 위한 URL을 통해 연구의 목적과 내용을 안내하고 학생이 자발적으로 설문에 참여할 수 있도록 하였다. 2020학년도 2학기 학사경고자 187명, 2021학년도 1학기 학사경고자 268명, 학사경고 경험이 없는 일반재학생 481명 총 936명이 설문에 참여하였다. 목적에 맞는 연구 자료 분석을 위해 이항 로지스틱 회귀분석과 군집분석을 실시하였다. 주요 연과 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, MCCI 학사경고 예측요인 척도는 성격양식 3개 척도(우울성, 반사회적, 피학적), 걱정영역 2개 척도(정신적혼란, 학업문제), 임상징후 3개 척도(자살경향, 주의(인지)결함, 알코올남용), 총 8개의 요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 군집분석을 실시한 결과 C대학 학사경고자의 유형이 총 3개의 군집으로 분류되었다. 군집에 대한 차이분석을 통해 각 군집들의 특성에 맞게 ‘단기적 만족 추구 우세형’, ‘부적응적 완벽주의 우세형’, ‘우울/불안 부정적 정서 우세형’로 명명하였다.| The purpose of this study was to classify the types of College Academic Probation into clusters by finding factors that can predict the occurrence of Academic Probation by the Prevalence scores of the Millon College Counseling Inventory(MCCI), and to explain the characteristics of each type. The survey data used in this study were collected from a fact-finding survey to prevent Academic Probation and provide services that meet the needs of those with Academic Probation at the Student Counseling Center of University C located in the province. In the research design stage, questionnaire items and measurement tools were added to prepare a screening and early intervention plan using Millon College Counseling Inventory(MCCI), a multi-axis test for College students, and conducted online. The purpose and contents of the study were guided through the URL for the survey, and students were allowed to voluntarily participate in the survey. A total of 936 people participated in the survey: 187 students who received Academic Probation in the second semester of 2020, 268 students who received Academic Probation in the first semester of 2021, and 481 general students who did not experience Academic Probation. Logistic Regression Aanalysis and Cluster Analysis were performed to analyze the research data suitable for the purpose. The main results of the study are as follows. First, the Millon College Counseling Inventory(MCCI) Academic Probation predictive factor scale consists of 3 scales of Personality styles(Dejected, Unruly, Denigrated), 2 scales of Expressed concerns(Mental health upset, Academic concerns), and 3 scales of Clinical signs(Suicidal tendencies, Attention(Cognitive) deficits, Alcohol abuse), and a total of 8 factors. Second, as a result of Cluster Analysis, the types of Academic Probation at University C were classified into three clusters. Through the difference analysis of the clusters, they were named ‘Short-term satisfaction-seeking dominant type’, ‘Maladaptive perfectionism dominant type’, and ‘Dejected/Anxiety Negative emotion dominant type’ according to the characteristics of each cluster.
