Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of street dance cultural content possibilities (repertoire possibility, professionalism, social environment possibility) on the popularization of street dance and content satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of popularization accessibility and popularization awareness in the relationship. In addition, the possibility of cultural content, popularization, and content satisfaction of street dance were investigated to identify differences in perception according to the gender, age, academic background, and encounter of street dance participants. As for the research method, a survey was conducted from February 1 to March 26, 2021 for middle school students, high school students, college students, and the general public who are participating in street dance. A total of 390 questionnaires were distributed, and items judged to impair reliability were removed, and a total of 350 questionnaires were used for the survey.

Data processing is performed in SPSS Ver. The statistical program of 23.0 was used. Data analysis was performed according to the purpose of the study by statistical analysis of independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, multiple regression analysis, and three-step mediated regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First. Differences in perception of street dance cultural content possibilities (repertoire possibility, professionalism security possibility, social environment possibility), popularization (accessibility, awareness), and content satisfaction were analyzed according to gender, age, educational background, and occasion of encounter. As a result of this analysis, it was found that there was a difference in content satisfaction according to gender. In addition, it was found that there was a difference in the repertoire possibility according to age. Second. The effect of street dance's cultural content possibilities (repertoire possibility, professionalism security possibility, social environment possibility) on popularization (accessibility to popularization, awareness) was analyzed. As a result of this analysis, it was found that the possibility of repertoire, the possibility of securing expertise, and the possibility of the social environment have an effect on accessibility to popularization. It was also found to have an effect on the perception of popularization. Third. The effect of street dance cultural content possibilities (repertoire possibility, professionalism possibility, social environment possibility) on content satisfaction was analyzed. As a result of this analysis, it was found that the possibility of repertoire and the possibility of securing expertise had an effect on content satisfaction. Fourth. The mediating effect on popularization (accessibility, awareness) was analyzed in the relationship between the possibility of street dance cultural contents (possibility of repertoire, possibility of securing expertise, possibility of social environment) and content satisfaction. As a result of this analysis, it was found that accessibility to popularization had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between repertoire possibility and content satisfaction, and it was found that popularization awareness had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between possibility of securing expertise and content satisfaction. In addition, in the relationship between repertoire possibility and content satisfaction, awareness of popularization was found to have a partial mediating effect, and in the relationship between possibility of securing expertise and content satisfaction, awareness of popularization was found to have a partial mediating effect. Based on the results of this study, suggestions that can serve as basic data on the potential for development of street dance and cultural contents are presented. Also, suggestions are presented that street dance can act positively as cultural contents.
