고등학교 일본어 교과서에 나타난 일본 문화에 대한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 2015 교육개정은 어떻게 개정되었으며 고등학교 일본어I 교과서 문화영역이 어떻게 반영되었는지 문제의식 속에서 시작되었다. 1973년 일본어를 고등학교 정규과목 개설을 시작으로 제3차 교육과정에서 제7차 교육과정을 거쳐 수시 개정을 통해 2015 교육과정인 현재에 이르고 있다. 대부분의 학생들이 제2외국어 교과서로 처음 접하는 것이 고등학교 일본어 교과서라고 할 수 있다. 첫 교과서인 만큼 학습자들에게 막중한 영향을 준다고 볼 수 있다. 또한, 정보의 범람으로 일본 문화를 자칫 잘못 받아들이고 있는 부분을 교과서를 통해 오류를 수정하고 문화에 대해서 재인식할 수 있는 계기가 마련된다고도 볼 수 있으며 학습자가 지적으로 성장함에 있어서 직접적인 영향을 주는 자료이다. 따라서 국가의 교육 이념과 목적을 구현하는 수단이자 도구이므로 교과서는 매우 중요한 역할을 하고 있기 때문에 교과서 문화영역 분석을 연구 주제로 삼았다. 연구 범위로는 2015 교육과정에서 검인정 교과서로 인정된 고등학교 일본어I 교과서 8종에 있는 문화 영역을 중심으로 분석하였다. Finocchiaro & Bonomo, Chastain의 이론을 근거로 한 문화 유형과 2015 개정 교육과정의 문화 내용 기준에 따른 분류에 의거하여 고등학교 일본어I 교과서를 분석하였다. 또한, 분석을 바탕으로 문화 교육을 개선하기 위한 방안을 다섯 가지로 제시하였다. 문화내용과 문화유형을 종합적으로 분석해 본 결과 교과서별로 매우 다양하게 분석됨을 알게 되었다. 어떤 교과서를 선택하느냐에 따라 학습자가 배울 수 있는 문화가 달라질 수 있다는 것이며 따라서 학습자들이 편중된 문화가 아닌 다양한 문화를 접할 수 있도록 2015 교육개정 학습요소를 기준으로 문화를 소개해야 하겠다. 일본 문화에 대한 교육이 종전보다는 확대되고 있으나 여전히 언어의 4가지 기능이 우선시 되고 있으며 그에 비해 문화 영역은 쉬어가기 코너로 전락해 버리고 있다. 본 연구에서 살펴본 결과 언어와 문화는 밀접한 관계성을 맺고 있다. 따라서 향후 문화 교육이 활발해져야 하며 여러 차례 교육과정을 거쳐 일본 문화가 더욱더 강조되어야 하겠다. |This study began with a problematic sense of how the 2015 Education Amendment was revised and how the cultural domain of high school Japanese 1 textbooks was reflected. Starting with the opening of Japanese regular high school subjects in 1973, the school has been revised from the third curriculum to the present day through the frequent revision of the curriculum. High school Japanese textbooks are the first thing most students encounter as a second foreign language textbook. As it is the first textbook, it has a great influence on learners. In addition, it can be seen that the flood of information provides an opportunity to correct errors and re-recognize the culture through textbooks, which directly affects learners' intellectual growth. Therefore, the textbook plays a very important role as a means and tool to realize the nation's educational ideology and purpose, so this study focused on analyzing the cultural areas of textbooks. As for the scope of the study, it was analyzed focusing on the cultural domains in 8 kinds of high school Japanese I textbooks that were recognized as certified textbooks in the 2015 curriculum. High school Japanese I textbooks were analyzed based on the classification of culture types based on Finocchiaro & Bonomo, Chastain's theory and cultural content criteria of the 2015 revised curriculum. Furthermore, this study also presents five ways to improve cultural education based on analysis. The comprehensive analysis of cultural contents and types of culture shows that there are many different kinds of analysis by textbook. This means that the culture that learners can learn can vary depending on which textbook they choose, so this research will introduce the culture based on the 2015 education revision learning elements so that learners can access various cultures, not biased ones. Education on Japanese culture is expanding more than before, but four functions of language are still prioritized, while the cultural sector is turning into a resting corner. As a result of this study, language and culture are closely related. Therefore, cultural education should be active in the future, and Japanese culture should be emphasized more through several curricula
