국가직무능력표준(NCS) 도입 기계분야 5개년 실효성 연구

- Abstract
- With the discussion on practical education-centered NCS starting from high school, NCS was introduced on technical high schools for the first time in 2016 and celebrated its 5th anniversary in 2020. While NCS is introduced and applied on machinery field of technical high schools since 2016, there are only researches that verified the effectiveness of NCS. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the effectiveness of job performance in machinery fields by students who completed NCS education. In details, this study seeks to compare the difference in competence of a group that completed NCS education and group that didn’t take NCS education by utilizing IPA analysis.
For factors to be measured, this study measured items such as special knowledge, new skill acquisition, safety and security, skill proficiency as abilities of machine expert. Also, this study is composed of detailed factors with suggestion alternative for problem solving, rich special knowledge, understanding on new skill, completion of safety education, and easy explanation for team members.
For the survey, this study distributed questionnaires from March, 2020 to April, 2020, to students who graduated department of mechanical engineering in technical high schools. Total of 60 questionnaires were collected with 30 samples from the group that completed NCS and 30 samples from group that didn’t take NCS. The results for 60 questionnaires were utilized on t-test and importance-performance analysis. The research results were as follows.
First, for result of IPA on all data, the group that completed NCS showed maintenance of SS(1,2,3,), PA(1), RB(1,2) and improvements of SL(1,3), SK(1,2), RB(3,4), PA(2,3,5). In comparison between group that completed NCS and the group that didn’t take NCS, the latter group showed lower accomplishment in skill proficiency. This is because the group that completed NCS had higher career experience than the group that didn’t take NCS.
Secondly, the result showed a significant positive correlation between belongingness, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction. Both group that completed NCS and group that didn’t take NCS showed virtuous circle derived from the positive correlation between belongingness, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction. Also, subjects showed higher performance when such positive correlation was higher. Especially, the group that completed NCS showed higher positive correlation than the group that didn’t take NCS.
This study holds significance in structurally classifying the occupational abilities of machinery specialists who graduated technical high schools, verifying and evaluating the 5-year performance in introducing NCS by comparing and evaluating the group that completed NCS and group that didn’t take NCS.
