- Abstract
- The biggest advantage of high-speed railway accessibility is good for fast moving trains with local mass transit between medium-sized cities can be said that the ease of use. However, more of the signal security device and modifications, and natural disasters, a failure signal is generated due to a blackout of the electrical interlock due to external impact. The signal over the security of the device and causing huge delays on trains also these accidents are frequent. Recent electric railway has greatly increased the dependence on electricity and telecommunications is also a trend that the use of power conversion devices due to economic growth and industrial development increased rapidly. The transformers used in widely in the power system for rank of the other system of voltage hierarchy. However, the inrush current is generated when the input to the transformer. This occurs when, due to the primary current differential relays that can be operated. In this paper, AC 25,000V in operation in railway construction electric railways of Scott connection transformer power supply (154,000V / 55,000V) is protected by installing the Buchholz Relay (B-H relay) and percentage differential relay to the inside of the transformer fault detection device.
Harmonic analysis of the effects of commonly used ratio of primary current differential relays with catenary power transformer protection and to seek to establish measures need to manage the harmonic currents into harmonic event of a predetermined value or less.
