Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate high school students 'perception of integrated physical education classes and student's In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, we set up a detailed study on student's 'perceptions of high school integrated physical education classes and student's attitudes toward disability through high school integrated physical education class.
In order to analyze the research problems of this study, we surveyed 4 high schools with special classes in G-metropolitan area and distributed 400 copies of 100 questionnaires to each school. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS 22.0 program, and statistical analysis, t-test and ANOVA analysis were conducted to verify the data.
The analysis results and the conclusions are as follows.
First, it was found that the difference of high school student's perception on integrated physical education class by gender was not significant.
Second, it was found that the difference of high school student's perception on the integrated physical education class according to grade was not significant.
Third, the difference of high school student's perception about integrated physical education class according to experience of participating in integrated physical education class showed that the perception of integrated physical education class was low when they had participated experience.
Fourth, the difference of high school student's perception about integrated physical education class according to the period of participating in integrated physical education class was higher when there was no participation period.
Fifth, there was no significant difference in the perception of integrated physical education classes according to presence or absence of friends and relatives with disabilities.
Sixth, there was no significant difference in the perception of integrated physical education classes according to experience of service for disabled group or facility.
Seventh, there was no significant difference in attitude toward disability through gender, participation in integrated physical education class, duration of participation, and experience of service in disabled group.
Eighth, the attitude toward acceptance of disability through the integrated physical education class by grade was found to decrease as the grade level increased.
Ninth, it was found that the attitude of accepting the disabled through the integrated physical education class according to the presence of friends and relatives of the disabled showed a high attitude of accepting the disabled through the integrated physical education class when there were friends and relatives of the disabled.
As a result, the group with experience of volunteer activity showed positive attitude toward acceptance attitude and the effect of integrated physical education class. After students have participated in volunteer activities, they have a consensus that they should provide support to the difficult people, while at the same time they understand the students with disabilities and change their attitudes. This shows that young people are able to carry out their assigned tasks on their own initiative, make prompt decisions on issues that require choice and judgment, and help these activities improve their interpersonal and social responsibility. In other words, through voluntary volunteer activities, the attitude of acceptance to the disabled was improved, and it was found that it became the basis of social integration.
