장애체험활동을 통한 장애이해교육이 중학생의 공감 및 배려에 미치는 영향

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of disability awareness program through the disability activity on middle school students' empathy and caring. To accomplish this purpose, Research problems were established as below. First, what effects does disability awareness program through the disability activity have on middle school students' empathy? Second, what effects does disability awareness program through the disability activity have on middle school students' caring? The treatments such as a disability awareness program through the disability activity were performed to experimental and control group each. And the ANOVA was applied for analyzing the difference of empathy and caring test scores between experimental and control group. The study results can be summarized as below. First, disability awareness program through the disability activity had a positive effect on the middle school students' emotional empathy, but did not differ on the middle school students' cognitive empathy. Second, disability awareness program through the disability activity did not differ on the student's consideration of others feeling, concession, care between experimental and control group.
