A Study on the Physical Eduction Teachers
Perception and Status of the Management of School
Sports Clubs in Special Schools

The purpose of this study is to realize the management conditions of the teachers who operate school sports clubs and guide the students in special schools, to survey satisfaction, problems, expected effects and strategies for visualizing the sports clubs, and to provide the basic data to draw up the improvement to manage the sports club efficiently.
According to the purpose of the study, sports club teachers who are in charge of sports club activities from 8 special schools in Kwangju and 11 special schools in Jella province are invited to join the complete survey and then the final remaining number of the teachers are 57 teachers (47 male teachers and 14 female teachers) are selected for this survey. The major study results that t-test and one-way ANOVA in terms of related variables such as gender, career of education, working place, types of disorder using SPSS WIN 18.0 statistics program are
implemented and comparatively analysed are as follows.
First, teachers are highly interested in sports club activities when examining the perception of school sports clubs teachers for they assume that mentally and physically challenged students will be able to develop collaborated and correlated relationship each other in a variety of ways. School sports clubs are organized considering the facilities and conditions, the number of teachers are more than 5 people, the event of activities has been only one event in less than 40-60 mins class, once a week. In addition, The activities have been implemented in school ground and school gymnasium. Finally, intramural athletic meeting has been held more than once a year.
Second, the satisfaction of school sports club teachers in special school is 3.63 point. In other words, the result is that students’ satisfaction is over a normal, but insignificant.
Third, the expected effect of school sports clubs in special school is 4.35 point, students are much more expected towards the resulting effect by participating in the school sports clubs, and types of handicapping conditions are significantly expressed.
Fourth, the problems of managing school sports activities in special school is 2.93 point, school budget support and the connection to the communities is insufficiently expressed and not all that significant.
Fifth, school sports clubs activation improvement is 3.94 point, in which financial supports from nations and local government, assistive device support for activities participation improvement expressed in order and only gender significantly differently expressed.
