Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the exile of Nosoosin, who lived during the Reign of King Injong of Joseon Dynasty in the 16th Century and worked as a Jungon for Saganwon, by researching the Collection of Nosoosin’s Works, Sojaejip. When he was a Jungon for Saganwon, he denounced the minister’s I gi. At that time Sarim criticized Yun wonhyeong’s party was the Myeongjong’s man of royal relatives by marriage. He also expressed concern about the inaccuracy in a positive manner, he got exile with the consequence that in 1547 after the occurrence of Eulsasawa in 1545. There is a feature which is distinctive 3 periods (primary period; the dismissal and the exile period in Suncheon in 1545-1547, secondary period; the exile period in Jindo in 1547-1566, tertiary period; the re-exile period in Goesan till the emancipation of exile) to his exile. There is a feature which he was damaged by readjustment is that the sentence of Sarim the victim of Eulsasawa, not the ordering of the dismissal and the exile while on his ordinary life after dismissal. In this study, I focused on primary period which he was sent to Suncheon. After his dismissal, Nosoosin asked after his teacher’s health and led a ordinary life with visiting a family member’s grave from dismissal to the exile period in Suncheon in his hometown. Unusually, for a noble family, he communicated well with Buddihst monk, and took sometime for thought, learning. These kind of his life framed literary works and the outcome of ideological after re-exile from Suncheon to Jindo. Although the period of Suncheon exile was short time, he kept in touch with his acquaintance, student and a local resident. This friendship became the powerful energy to solve the problems in the exile in his time. Since he couldn’t share all the joys and sorrows with his family, he god rid of his stress by composing a poem or writing a letter. Nevertheless, his felt acute pain in his early age’s exile. During his Suncheon exile, he was ordered to withdraw from the command, excepting Nosoosin, he was forced into re-exile to Jindo by Jungmisawa in September 1547 for 19 years. There are 5 things to studying are below based on the above about dismissing Nosoosin to the exile in Suncheon: First, the life of going down into the country after discharging, Second, the studying of Suncheon a place of his exile and the path, Third, the strong yearning of his family, Fourth, the relationship of friends of his, Fifth, the command of pardon and the details of re-exile.
