플라이오메트릭 트레이닝이 남자 고등학생 육상 도약 선수의 전문체력 및 등속성 근력에 미치는 영향

- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of plyometric training on physical fitness and isokinetic muscle strength in male high school jumpers. The results were as follows.
First, for changes in physical fitness, the plyometric training group did not show a significant difference in weight, percent body fat, and muscle strength but did show a significant difference in endurance(p<.001), flexibility(p<.05), power(p<.05), and the 50-meter race(p<.01). Agility did not have a statistical significant difference in the reaction time test. The conventional exercise group showed a significant difference only in endurance(p<.05). Therefore, the plyometric program had a positive effect on jumpers' improvement of physical fitness.
Second, for changes in isokinetic muscle strength, the plyometric training group showed a statistical significant difference in the maximum strength of the left extensor(p<.05), the maximum strength of the right flexor(p<.05), the maximum strength of the left flexor(p<.05), the maximum strength per weight of the right extensor(p<.05), the maximum strength per weight of the left extensor(p<.05), the maximum strength per weight of the right flexor(p<.05), and the maximum strength per weight of the left flexor(p<.05). The conventional exercise group showed a statistically significant difference in the maximum strength of the right flexor(p<.05), the maximum strength per weight of the left extensor(p<.05), the maximum strength per weight of the right flexor(p<.05), and the maximum strength per weight of the left flexor(p<.05). Therefore, the plyometric program had a positive effect on jumpers' improvement of isokinetic muscle strength.
Taken together, the 12-week plyometric training had a positive effect on male high school jumpers' improvement of both physical fitness and isokinetic muscle strength. It is necessary to develop various exercise programs to help sprinters' improvement of performance.
