- Abstract
- Among the changes in the society to modern society is diverse and professional, curriculum of our country is also entering a new change. In such a situation, "revised curriculum in 2009" was declared for the purpose of development of creative human resources which future society needs on the basis of Ministry of Education and Science Technology on December 23, 2009. Instructors should present various music and activities to students through revised curriculum 2009 and guide them to be able to express the notes creatively through these experiences. Music education applying many studies and a variety of music teaching methods has been appeared for the efficient music education, but this study is subject to the present of the invention appreciation learning lesson plan applying a comprehensive music education in order to achieve the target in line with the revised curriculum in 2009.
The ultimate aim of appreciation education is that it plays by visually connecting auditory perception, cognition, and emotional reaction to understand the music associated with the music and the life. Appreciation is necessary not only having reaction to evoke emotionally when hearing the music, but also having appreciation class applying comprehensive music education to be able to listen to music sensuously, analyze the music, and do together a comprehensive understanding and creative interpretation participation.
The purpose of the 2009 amendments to curriculum mentions the importance of the direct musical experience by emphasizing various music pieces, active participation on musical activity in a variety of in all parts of teaching content, teaching and learning methods, teaching basis of a school class, and so on. Based on the importance of music appreciation and theoretical knowledge of comprehensive music education, comprehensive music appreciation lesson plan was made by selecting one by one song each among Korean music and Western music with a high frequency in a middle school music text book. It selected the concept of necessary learning based on the contents of the 2009 revision system curriculum, and is able to make students access easily and experience through a variety of activities and music.
Middle school textbooks of the current education courses in total 17 different kinds, Korean music including Korean traditional music, creation Korean classical music, and popular music came out 143 times with 63 songs, Western music including European music, Russian national music, musical came out 259 times in 117 songs. By making a class lesson plan with the two songs having each other's culture and different characteristics, can be found various differences between Western music and Korean classical music, and characteristic elements of each music are expected to able to stimulate students' interest and to be developed into an effective class which can make students experience other cultures at the same time.
So that a student becomes a subject in class and it is possible to develop the ability of discovery their potential capacity while having creative musical experience, feeling an interest in a class, and re-create their own knowledge, instructors must continue constant learning and efforts into research.
Finally, in addition to the teacher, schools and government must study and develop diverse teaching method, theory, and concrete learning process for the development of students' creativity.
