Teenagers have limited opportunity to correct their values and attitudes. They spend a lot of time at school where they learn many things. The media that delivers the knowledge at school is a textbook. So textbook can be a pathway to infuse the values. Especially, the literatures give many opportunities of indirect experience and raises student interest.
Literature is a reflection of reality and a mirror to reflect society. The literature that as well. Specially, adolescents who don't form a significant value are influenced by the literature influenced by literature. Selection of literature on education is very important. Therefore, the study of literature and literary work to the reader to influence of literature on readers is very important thing
In literacy education, studies of selected works of literature have been conducted , but now in the process of education the field classical literature need more studies.
Classical literature shows that how people understands their world and their emotion. Also, the literature activity has the sumption that the acceptance of literatures, raising literary sensibility and imagination through creative activies and activities to combine value of literature with life, so it is not too much to say that the classical literature is the center of literature.
In this article, the classical novel will be improved as a educational effective value and I try learning the formation of value through it.
describes very sealistically the conflictcts from that opposed the teadal and patriarchal society. It shows realistic thingking the consequent development. Also charater overcome other. It helps studenrs to from their values.
Even through tis is not valued highly, but it can give(teach) learner many things.
I analyze the values to be acquired from the appearance of characters.
In the novel, writer suggested a new view of womanhood through main character 'Chabong'. Also, it has the effective values of education which describes the phases of the times; a pariarchal system and social irregularities.
