A study on Creative teaching for used music software

The essence of music is composition, and among all the activities in music education, first place must be given to creative activities. Among the various components of music education, the composition component bears an organic relationship with all the others. Creative activity informs all musical behavior and, in view of the fact that in the process of applying such activity results are produced that reflect solely one's own original ideas, it can be said to be the most positive and essential type of activity. Yet in spite of this the current educational scene leans heavily on vocal music instruction and theory, while education in composition is largely ignored. Moreover, due to inadequate classroom environment and the pitifully small number of teachers with professional ability, too many students graduate without having experienced composition activity in any significant measure.
Although some composition teaching models have recently been introduced that make use of ICT which reflects this trend if only to a small extent, it is difficult to find cases of concrete teaching-learning plans targeted to middle school students that can reflect directly on the instruction on the educational scene. Therefore this study has attempted, through the selection of music software that matches the level of the students, to make by means of guidance plans a more systematic approach to concrete teaching-learning plans that can be directly applied to instruction in musical composition.
It is hoped that the concrete teaching-learning guidance plans offered in this study will become a driving force for breaking away from the music composition instruction that has prevailed so far so as to establish more effective instruction, and that they will provide help to those music teachers on the current educational scene who may have difficulty in making use of the music software.
