중학교 미술교과 표현영역에서 ICT의 전통미술교육 방안 연구

Abstract

현재 우리 사회는 나날이 발달해가는 고도문명에 의해 급속도로 디지털 문화화가 진행되고 있다. 디지털 문화는 우리에게 편리함과 안락함을 가져다주었다. 그러나 디지털 문화가 모두 긍정적인 변화만 가져온 것은 아니다. 인간관계의 변화와 공동체의 해체, 사이버 중독과 디지털 부적응, 가치관의 상실 등 부정적인 변화 또한 나타났다. 이러한 현상에서 생겨난 문제점들로부터 우리 청소년들은 인간의 존엄성과 자아실현 및 타인과의 상호작용, 문화 정체성과 공동체 의식 등을 잃어가고 있다. 이러한 역기능으로 인해 발생한 윤리적 문제들을 해결할 필요성이 대두되었다. 이에 교육인적자원부에서는 이러한 문제점들을 회복시켜야한다고 강조하고 있다. 이러한 실정에서 우리의 미술교육에서는 전통미술교육의 활용을 통해 디지털 문화를 긍정적으로 받아들이고, 우리 청소년들에게서 감성을 이끌어 내어 이러한 문제들을 해결할 수 있는 것이다. 전통미술 분야는 협동을 요하는 수업이 많고 상호간의 의사소통을 통해 수업을 시행하는 경우가 많다. 그러므로 대부분의 윤리적 문제를 회복시키기에 타 교과보다 가능성이 월등히 높으므로 참된 교육의 의미를 되새길 수 있다. 결과적으로 전통미술을 통하여 윤리적 문제를 해결할 수 있고 우리 청소년들은 메마른 감성을 되찾을 것이다. 지금의 상황을 맞이하여 우리는 전통미술에 대한 올바른 이해를 도모하고 무엇보다도 교육현장에서 적극적으로 전통미술교육을 선행하여야 한다. 이러한 시대적 요구에 능동적으로 대처하기 위해 교육현장에서는 디지털교육과 전통교육을 융합한 교육 내용 및 방법에 대한 적극적인 검토가 필요하다. 이에 디지털 문화의 긍정적인 방향에 부합된 디지털매체로는 무엇이 있을까? 바로 청소년들이 좋아하는 컴퓨터를 사용하는 것이 효율적이다. 따라서 ICT를 활용하여 전통미술에 접근하고자한다. ICT란 인터넷뿐만 아니라 동영상, 사진, 그림 등의 모든 자료와 도구를 활용하여 교수․학습에 적용하는 것을 말한다. 이러한 ICT 활용을 통해 우리의 전통미술이 청소년들에게 더욱 더 쉽고 재미있게 접근할 수 있으리라 생각된다. 그리하여 본 논문에서는 ICT를 활용한 학습지도안으로 전자콜라주를 이용한 민화 제작하기, 전통 인물화 패러디하기, 전통 문화재의 디지털 지도 만들기를 제시하였다. 미술교육에서 ICT의 활용을 통해 디지털 문화의 장점을 부각시킬 뿐만 아니라 단점을 보완하여 현재 나타나고 있는 인터넷 및 게임 중독, 사이버 예절, 비인간화 현상들을 교수 · 학습과정과 연계하여 효과적으로 해결해나갈 수 있다. 이제는 ICT 활용이 교육의 단순한 수단이라는 인식에서 벗어나 변화하는 교육의 패러다임으로 인식하고 그 특징과 장점을 살려 수업의 질적 개선을 추구하여야 할 것이다. 결론적으로 전통미술교육이 잘되기 위해서는 먼저 우리의 전통미술에 대한 우수함과 중요성을 알아야 할 것이며 어렵고 생소하게 여겨지고 있는 이 교육을 학생들에게 보다 쉽고 친근하게 다가가기 위해서는 ICT 활용을 통해 학생들의 흥미를 유발할 수 있는 교육이 이루어져야 한다.|Digital cultures have been rapidly developing in our society due to advanced technologies. They have brought convenience and comfort in our life. However, it has not always brought positive changes but it has caused negative changes such as changes in human relations, deconstruction of communities, addiction to Internet, digital maladjustment, and loss of sense of values. From problems caused from such phenomena, adolescents are losing human respect, self-realization, interactions, cultural identify and consciousness of community. So a necessity to solve ethic problems due to such reverse functions has appeared. The Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development is putting an emphasis on resolution of such problems. In this condition, when our art education helps students to positively accept digital culture through use of traditional art education, problems can be solved through inspiring adolescents to have more sensitivity. Traditional art class needs cooperations and mutual communication. Therefore, as it has more possibility to help adolescents to recover their moral, the meaning of true education can be understood. As a result, ethical problems can be solved through traditional art education and dry emotion of adolescents can be recovered. In this situation, we should promote proper understanding on traditional art and deal with it practically for more positive art education. To actively deal with the need of the time, education fields should develop educational contents and methods for which digital education is combined with traditional education. What digital media are there that meet the positive directions of digital culture? That is, using computers preferred by adolescents is effective. Therefore, we are to approach to traditional art using ICT. For education using ICT, materials such as video, pictures and images are used for teaching and learning. It is expected that adolescents can have an easy access to traditional art through the ICT. Therefore, this study presented teaching plans using ICT as follows: making folk painting using online collage, parody of traditional portraits, and making digital map of traditional cultural assets. Advantages of digital culture can be highlighted and its disadvantages can be complemented through use of ICT for art education. For example, addiction to Internet games, cyber manners, dehumanizing phenomena can be effectively resolved through teaching and learning processes. Now, out of the recognition that use of ICT is a simple means of education, we should recognize it as a changing education paradigm and pursue for improvement of teaching in quality, focusing on features and advantages. In conclusion, for effective traditional art education, we should know superiority and importance of our traditional art and provide more familiar and interesting art education for them through ICT.
