- Abstract
The purpose of this study is different Dado culture korea and japan.
the tea mentioned in japanese tea is not showing just a conventional aspect
such as demae but spiritual aspect called spirit of tea is co-existing. when mentioning the spirit of tea. what I should consider is the spirit of tea culture different. it plays an important roll to make the tea be considered more than just beverage or just for medical use internationally.
And the research of dado culture that sublimated the tea of japan to one of tea culture dado has been studied and focsed on one person named Rikyu.
therefore, this research is to show how the tea that has been just one of favorite beverage became one of the culture in spirits and to present its historical procedure through three people, juko ,jo, rikyu.
japan tea was advocated by murata juko against the exteavagant culture of tea at that moment in the age of Muro machi.
The research group consists of people who have experienced tea, whereas the control group consists of people who have never experienced any kind of meditation at all. given that tea meditation is not yet popularized among people, there were some difficulties in composing the research group. As for measuring the mental health condition of participants, this study utilized a scale that can measure psychological anxiety, and that of patterns and degree of stress.
Rikyu allso applied not only Karamono but Wamono to the theory of Wakendairon in the principle of 'One of Tools' It has been similar things to Jo. However Rikuy has created his brilliant creativity and applied it to chanoyu such as not just appreciate the vase without flowers or decorations or so. Also, Rikuy has changed the formation of the room for tea with 4 and half of tatami to 3, 2 or one half of tatami or he referred that chanoyu is just having tea in daily life it is having with boiled water. It means he emphasized chnoyu's casuality. As shown above, Rikyu had strict and sharp aspects on the fundamental of Chanoyu and it is the reason why he is regarded as the man who has completed wabi tea. So to speak, if Wabi tea has combined with 'the spirit of wabi' which is unique concept of beauty that only japanese has, it is completed and it will be the core of spiritual culture that has been developed by the three people, Murata Joko, Takeno Jo and Senno Rikyu'. And Rikyu's Chanoyu has become the root of the tea culture of Japan and has been a representative traditional culture of Japan.
