Abstract
I am going to introduce usage and function of the Japanese condition expression such as 「TO」,「BA」,「TARA」, and 「NARA」. We will look into a criterion of definition and type of condition the base of a existing theory. Expression called condition is defined that "The essential premise for happening the certain situation". Condition expression is divided largely with 「general condition」, 「supposition condition」, 「decision condition」.
「general condition」is condition that is when the prior condition come into after that condition come into necessarily.
「supposition condition」 guesses materialization of a certain situation, and it is condition that indicate happening result. It can divide into two parts. They are situation having reality and situation that doesn't have reality.
「decision condition」decides upon facts which already came into the prior condition. As expressing such result, the situation of prior condition is expression that is reason, opportunity, cause of after that condition. Then, we am going to show meaning usage of each condition expression.
First, 「TO」form is including meaning such as 'always', 'necessary', because it has a natural and essential relation the base of practical experience.
Second,「BA」form has a logic and essential relation the base of the conceptional fact, and it is limited Sentence of ending word of after that condition., because form is judged objectively the prior condition and the after that after the condition. 「BA」form observes prior condition and after that condition in the objective view with logic of the object. Although it is limited Sentence of ending word of after that condition it is degree of limitation.
Third, 「TARA」form has individual, accidental, and occasional relation the base of essential experience of prior and after condition. Although it is equal to 「TO」in opportunity view, because they have accidential meaning's opportunity they are different.
Fourth, 「NARA」form is expression about the expressionists' judgement or attitude, when it assumes true that is the prior certain case.「NARA」form does not assume reality, conclusion of certain facts. It assume judgement about facts, so it is difficult to use habitual facts in the general condition situation.
In conclusion, we search usage and function of the Japanese condition expression such as 「TO」,「BA」,「TARA」, and「NARA」. Because this paper is literature researching I will support for improving this paper in the survey researching.
