남·여 중학생의 성 의식에 관한 비교 분석

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the difference on sexual consciousness between 9th male students and female students especially by comparing 3 regional levels, metropolitan areas, medium and small city areas, and rural areas. Participants in this study were 544 of 9th grade students who enrolled in 6 middle schools of 3 regional areas. Data were collected from questionnaire which is consisted of 35 questions about sexual consciousness of middle school students. To analysis the data Chi-Square(x^(2)) Analysis and ANOVA were used using SPSS Win program. The results of the study were following: First, middle school boys were more interested in sexuality than girls. Boys who live in rural areas were more interested in sexuality than boys who live in metropolitan and medium and small city areas. Second, middle school boys have more knowledge on sexuality in general than girls. Boys who live in rural areas have more knowledge on sexuality in general than boys who live in metropolitan and medium and small city areas. Third, Second, middle school boys have more conscious on sexuality in general than girls. Gernerally speaking, boys who live in rural areas were more conscious on sexuality in general than boys who live in metropolitan and medium and small city areas.
