Abstract

The objective of this thesis is to develop the environmental instruction and learning materials so that students will improve their values and attitudes toward environmental friendly circumstances. The instructions and teaching methods were performed with field-study and multimedia. The forest, which has various creature's interaction and provides students to understand ecological system of the earth, was used as a place of environmental education. The great materials and power point about wild beautiful flowers and plants as a pilot study, have been used to experience and study the forest. The experimental targets were the freshmen and sophomore of girl's high school, sixty-seven students filled out the questionnaire forms. Experiencing the forest and developing materials that relate with the forest were very effective so that respondents' environmental quality and attitude could develop. Especially, the TV documentaries and photographs that showed the communication of creatures gave a lot of influence to students. Nature loving or environmental attitudes and behaviors showed statistical significant differences. However, these nature loving and environmental attitudes could not be improved in a short time. So, we have to learn and try to develop to become nature loving people from our childhood. The variety of instruction and learning materials should be developed for students so that they can experience and learn beautiful nature.
