日本語 授受動詞의 用法에 關한 硏究 - やる, くれる, もらう의 用例를 中心으로

Abstract

There are verbs which mean giving and receiving between human interactions in Japanese verbs. These verbs can be divided into expression of giving and receiving things and of giving and taking an advantageous or disadvantageous act. This study examines the use of expression of giving and receiving with 「やる · くれる · もらう」. Japanese verbs of giving and receiving express giving and receiving, but their uses are decided depending on 「giver」 is subject or 「receiver」 is subject, senior, junior or belongs to 「in-group」 or 「out-group」. Verbs of giving and receiving have common things involving three factors of 「giver」, 「receiver」 and 「object」, but its meaning is varied depending on view of observer, focus of point of time, subject and object. Features of Japanese verbs of giving and receiving include 「restriction in person」 and 「involvement of speaker's point of time」. Chapter 1 of this paper overviews basic meaning of verbs of giving and receiving through concept and preceding researches of them, chapter 2 understands uses of expression of giving and receiving through related cases and examines restrictions in person and points of time in expression of verbs of giving and receiving centering around 「やる · くれる · もらう」and chapter 3 shows uses of benefits · merits and those of disadvantage with 「~てある · ~てくれる · ~てもらう」. This study is to establish right understanding of Japanese verbs of giving and receiving and foundation of their utilization through analysis of their applications.
