Abstract
Our educational goal is to produce able and creative persons in new school culture. So the important goal of art education is to produce talented elites who have sound personality through art education.
Environmental art intends to make our living artistic, develop one's creativity, and pursue harmonious relations between people and environment. Its educational value can be expanded through educational necessity, social demand, essence and function of art, and sculptural representation
So, this study aims to speculate relations between environment and art in everything surrounding human being, and apply the result for art textbooks. For the purpose, this study analyses art in middle school and current curriculum, and unit lessons relating to environments to identify the current status of environmental art teaching, incorporated teaching method of art and environment, and prepare various teaching methods in unit lessons relating to environment. Further, the necessity of environmental art education connected to environmental textbooks should be expanded and more effective teaching method should be prepared.
