Abstract
This study aims to identify the effects of ad-making activities on ability reading of young children.
The following questions were addressed.
1. Do ad-making activites have an effect on young children's word reading?
2. Do ad-making activites have an effect on young children's emergent reading?
3. Do ad-making activites have an effect on re-reading from young children's writing test?
This study targeted 40 kindergarten 3-years-old children were classified into two groups : experimental group and control group.
The results of this study were presented as follows :
1. It was demonstrated that ad-making activities improved young children's word reading.
2. It was demonstrtaed that ad-making activities improved young children's emergent reading.
3. It was demonstraed that ad-making activities improved young children's re-reading from writing test.
The result of this study revealed that ad-making activities contribute to the improvement of children's reading.
