한·중 신어 조어법 대조 연구

- Abstract
- In the research, the new words in both Chinese and Korean are classified based on their categories and etymologies. The new words are comparatively analyzed based on word formation rules, which leads to find some differences existing between new words formation in Chinese and Korean.
Chapter 1 states the purpose and necessity of the study. The research direction and methods will be determined through the prior study on new words appearing in Chinese an Korean. Chapter 2 definds the new words in Chinese and Korean. The chapter provides the reason why the new words arise in the two languages. Chapter 3 classifies the new words in Chinese and Korean according to their etymology and part of speech and analyze their formation as a whole.
Chapte 4 analyzes the characteristics in new words formation rules through the examination of the data in Korean. Investigation Report of New Words in 2018 and Chinese Language Report for 2018. From the analysis a conclusion has been drawn that single words, derivative words and blend words have stronger power to come into being in Korean than in Chinese, while compound words and abbreviations are more frequently occurring in Chinese than in Korean.
Chapter 5 summarizes the whole thesis and briefly discusses on the shortcomings of the thesis.
