Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of floortime intervention on playfulness of children with autism spectrum disorder. The study involved one child with autism spectrum disorder. AB single experimental design method was used for the research method. The researcher filmed the treatment scene. Then we looked at the video and measured the children playfulness at each session. Based on the results, we identified trends of children's change. The results indicated that floortime intervention had a positive effect on children's playfulness. Also, the pre- and post-tests results in CARS and PEP-R was increased scores. The results of this study sere as follows: First. floortime intervention has had a positive effect on children's playfulness. Second, floortime intervention had a positive effect on the autistic characteristics of children with autism spectrum disorders.
