폭력비행청소년의 인지행동치료 기반 통합프로그램 참여경험에 대한 질적사례연구

Abstract

본 연구는 폭력비행 청소년들의 인지행동치료에 기반을 둔 집단프로그램에 참여 경험에 대한 질적 사례 연구이다. 이전 인지행동치료 프로그램의 양적 효과분석만으로는 프로그램 참여 경험을 통한 경험의 맥락적 이해와 치료적 변화를 설명하는데 한계가 있다. 이러한 한계를 보완하기 위해 질적 사례분석 내에 복합분석단위로써 양적 성과 분석을 포함하여 통합하여 분석하였다. 폭력 비행 후 법원의 처분 전 교육을 받는 13~18세 비행청소년들에게 1일 7시간씩 5일, 3일 간 프로그램을 운영하였다. 그 과정에서 정성적인 자료를 보완하기 위한 정량적인 자료로 분노표현과 부적응적 사고, 공격성, 사회적 문제해결력의 변화에 대한 양적 결과를 수집하여 분석하였다. 질적 사례연구의 자료로 프로그램 진행 과정에서 작성한 참여자들의 활동 결과물과 참여자에 대한 행동·면담자료, 인터뷰와 소감문, 사후 전화 인터뷰를 수집하였다. 사례 내 분석을 위해 청소년 사례 별로 정성적 인터뷰 자료를 정량화하여 프로그램 참여과정에서 감정 변화를 시계열적으로 의미있게 다루었다. 사례 간 분석을 하기 위해 프로그램에 참여한 청소년들의 공통된 주제를 찾고, 중심 주제 분석을 시도하였다. 질적인 사례 분석 내에 복합분석단위로 양적 분석 결과를 통합함으로써, 폭력 비행 청소년들의 프로그램의 참여 경험 과정에서 분노조절과 외현적 부적응적 사고의 감소, 공격성 감소와 문제해결력이 증가하는 경험을 하였음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과가 추후 재범예방 프로그램을 개발하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.|ABSTRACT

A Qualitative Case Study on the Participation Experience of Integrative Program Based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy of Violent Adolescents

This study is a qualitative case study of the experience of participating in a group program based on cognitive behavioral therapy for juvenile delinquents. The quantitative effect analysis of previous cognitive behavioral therapy programs is limited in explaining the contextual understanding of the experiences and the therapeutic changes through the program participation experience. In order to compensate for these limitations, quantitative performance analysis as a complex analysis unit was included in the qualitative case analysis. The program was operated for five or three days, seven hours a day for a juvenile delinquent aged between 13 and 18 who is trained before the court's disposal after a violent flight. In the process, quantitative data were collected and analyzed for quantitative data on anger expression, maladaptive thinking, aggression, and changes in social problem solving ability. As a data for the qualitative case study, we collected the outcomes of the participants' activities, the behavioral and interview data, interviews and testimonials, and telephone interviews. Qualitative interview data was quantified for each adolescent case for in-case analysis to deal with emotional changes in the process of participating in the program. In order to conduct case-by-case analysis, we searched for the common themes of the youth who participated in the program, and attempted to analyze the central themes. By integrating the quantitative analysis results into the composite analysis unit within the qualitative case analysis, it was found that the experience of participation in the program by violent juvenile delinquents resulted in an experience of controlling anger, reducing external maladaptation, decreasing aggressiveness and increasing problem solving. These results are expected to help develop a re-crime prevention program in the future.
