Abstract
The study subjects were 20 soccer players, 20 randomly assigned to exercise group and control group and the measurements were performed twice at 0 weeks and 12 weeks. For 12 weeks, the exercise group performed the core stabilization exercise under the same conditions as much as possible, and the control group did not manage separately and measured only. For statistical methods, a correspondence sample t-test was conducted to see the difference between before and after within each group and the two-way repeated measure ANOVA was used to verify the difference between the timing and the group. The statistical setting was α=.05 and the following conclusions were obtained. In the change of body composition, the percentage of body fat decreased in the exercise group, which was statistically significant, but increased in the control group, showing no statistically significant difference. In addition, there was an interaction effect between the measurement time*group. Body mass index(BMI) increased in the exercise group and showed a statistically significant difference. but decreased in the control group, showing no statistically significant difference. And only the measurement time*group showed an interaction effect. The change in blood fatigue material was decreased in the exercise group, which was statistically significant. Although it decreased in the control group, there was no statistically significant difference. And it was shown that there was an interaction effect only at the time of measurement. Changes in α-amylase in the stress index decreased in the exercise group, which was statistically significant. The control group showed increased results, showing no statistically significant difference. In addition, there was an interaction effect in the measurement period and the measurement period*group. The change in total antioxidant activity was increased in the exercise group, which was statistically significant. It decreased in the control group, showing no statistically significant difference. In addition, there was an interaction effect according to the measurement time and the measurement time*group.
Taken together, these results suggest that the core stabilization exercise program has a positive effect on improving body composition factors, blood fatigue substances and stress indicators, α-amylase, and total antioxidant activity. If the core stabilization period is prolonged and the intensity is gradually increased, I think we can expect the performance improvement of elite soccer players.
