J. Haydn, R. Schumann, S.prokofiev 에 의한 졸업연주 프로그램 해설

Abstract

본 논문에서는 본 연구자의 졸업연주회 프로그램 “F.J.Haydn Piano Sonata No.60 in C Major,Hob:16-50”,“R.Schumann Kreisleriana, Op.16”,“S.Prokofiev Piano Sonata No.3”을 중심으로 각 작곡가의 생애 및 특징을 살펴보고 작품을 포괄적으로 살펴보았다. 프란츠 요셉 하이든 (Franz Joseph Haydn, 1732-1809)은 오스트리아 출신의 고전시대 대표적인 작곡가이다. 그는 고전 시대의 중심 형식이 된 소나타 형식을 발전시킨 작곡가이고 그의 작품은 초기, 중기, 후기로 나눌 수 있다. 「Piano Sonata No.60 in C Major, Hob:16-50」는 후기에 속하는 소나타로 후기소나타 특징에서 볼수 있는 강약의 표현의 증가, 다양한 리듬과 폭넓은 음역의 사용, 화려한 기교를 작품에서 볼수 있다. 1794 - 1795년에 작곡 된 소나타로 총 3악장으로 이루어져 있고 잦은 휴지(Pause)와 예상치 못한 곳에서의 포르찬도(fz)와 셈여림의 극단적인 대비가 돋보이는 작품이다. 로버트 슈만(Robert Alexander Schumann 1810-1856)은 독일 19세기 낭만주의 중요 작곡가이다. 낭만주의를 대표하는 작곡가 슈만은 예술가곡과 피아노음악에서 뛰어난 독창성을 발휘했다. 본 논문에서는 19세기 독일에서 유행했던 성격소품(Character Piece)으로 쓰여진 「Kreiseleriana, Op.16」를 관찰하였다. 문학적 연관성을 바탕으로 한 성격소품 으로 8개의 소품으로 구성된 작품으로 빠르고 느린 소품들의 대비를 통해 호프만의 작품 「숫 고양이 무어의 인생관」에 나오는 등장인물인 악장 Kreisler를 표현하려고 했으며 더 깊이 나아가서는 슈만의 정신세계를 표현하고자 한 작품이다. 세르게이 프로코피에프(Sergei Prokofiev, 1891-1953)는 러시아 출신의 작곡가이자 피아니스트이다. 20세기 전반에 활동한 프로코피에프는 신고전주의의 영향을 받아서 작곡을 했다. 신고전주의(Neo-Classicism)는 낭만주의 이전의 전통과 현대적 요소를 결합시킨 양식이며 프로코피에프는 이 신고전주의에서 자기만의 독특하고 개성 있는 작품세계를 구축한 뛰어난 작곡가이다 . 「Piano Sonata No.3, Op.28」는 단 악장 소나타로서 반음계적 진행과 불협화음, 불규칙한 리듬 등 현대적인 작곡 요소를 많이 보이고 있다. 형식적으로는 고전소나타 형식을 취했지만 재현부에서 제시부 제 1주제 제 2주제 를 배제하며 보이는 신고전주의의 특징도 보여지는 작품이다. | In this thesis, three major piano works, “F.J.Haydn Piano Sonata No. 60 in C Major, Hob: 16-50”,“ R. Schumann Kreisleriana, Op. 16 ”,“ S. Prokofiev Piano Sonata No. 3”are examined in analytical aspects with additional focus on the life and characteristics of each composer. Franz Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) is one of the Austrian composer in the classical era. He developed a sonata form, which became the central form of the classical era, and his works are divided into 3 stages based on the stylistic transformation. “Piano Sonata No. 60 in C Major, Hob: 16-50 ”is a late sonata, which presents, the use of various rhythms, wide ranges, and brilliant techniques. Composed in 1794-1795, this sonata consists of three movements and features an extreme frequent pauses, unexpected sforzando, and extreme dynamic contrast. Robert Alexander Schumann (1810-1856) is an a significant German composer in 19th century. His musical originality is represnted the best in German Lied and piano music. In this thesis, Schumann’s one of the major piano work, “Kreisleriana, Op.16”, has been observed. This piece is Schumann’s representative character piece that is closely related to German literature in the 19th century. This piece consists of eight movements. Through the contrasts between two characters, Florestan and Eusebius, this piece intends to express the insight of the main figure of“the Life of Male Cat Moore” by E.T.A. Hofmann Sergei Prokofiev (1891-1953) is a Russian composer and pianist in 20th century featuring Neoclassicism. Neo-Classicism is a style that combines pre-romantic traditions with modern elements, and Prokofiev is an outstanding composer who has built his own world of work in Neoclassicism. Piano Sonata No.3, Op.28 is a single movement sonata that many contemporary components, including chromatic progression, irregular rhythms, and abrupt dynamic changes. Although this sonata takes the classical sonata form, the second theme presented in the exposition is omitted in the recapitulation.
