대학생의 거부민감성과 사회불안의 관계에서 부적응적 자기초점주의의 매개효과

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 거부민감성과 사회불안과의 관계에서 부적응적 자기초점주의가 매개효과를 가지는지 검증하는 것이다. 본 연구는 광주, 전북, 서울 지역에 위치한 대학교에 재학 중인 300명의 대학생들을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 척도는 거부민감성 척도와 사회불안, 부적응적 자기초점주의에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집한 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 가설은 SPSS 23.0과 Amos 23.0을 이용하여 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 결과는 다음의 요약과 같다. 첫째, 거부민감성과 부적응적 자기초점주의, 사회불안 간의 관계를 증명한 결과는 통계적으로 유의미하다. 둘째, 거부민감성은 부적응적 자기초점주의와 사회불안에 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 부적응적 자기초점주의는 사회불안에 영향을 미친다. 넷째, 부적응적 자기초점주의는 거부민감성과 사회불안 사이를 부분적으로 매개하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구를 위한 제안점이 논의되었다.|The purpose of this study was to investigate whether maladaptive self-focused attention has an mediating effect on the relationship between insecure rejection sensitivity and social anxiety among undergraduates. This research was done by conducting surveys from 304 undergraduates who are attending universities in Gwangju, Jeollabuk-do, Seoul area. The scales used in the study were The Rejection Sensitivity Questionnaire: RSQ, Social Interaction Anxiety Scale: SIAS, Social Phobia Scale: SPS andScale for Dispositional Self-focused Attention in Social situation: SDSAS. The hypothesis of the study was verified by correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 23.0, Amos 23.0. The results were summarized as follows. First of all, a result in the examination of the relationships among rejection sensitivity, maladaptive self-focused attention and social anxiety is statistically significant. Second, maladaptive self-focused attention was partially mediated between rejection sensitivity and social anxiety. This result implies that while high level of rejection sensitivity hinder social anxiety, undergraduates with high maladaptive self-focused attention capability can successfully overcome such impact and re-adjust to interpersonal relationship.
