In the era of globalization, societies, economics, politics, and culture have become globalized. As the area expanded, the importance of regional culture grew even bigger and The most cosmopolitan can be the most cosmopolitan. Researchers think that studying and working on the cultural heritage of a region should be prioritized. Among the cultural heritage sites of Gwangju, Jeonnam Province, unjusa is located in Hwasun, closest to the researcher.
Unjusa is a unique buddhist temple where a number of stone buddhist images and stone pagodas are located as of now, there are only 91 stone buddhist images and 21 stone pagodas left, but it is written in [Dongkukyoejiseunglam] revised in 1481 that there were a thousand stone buddhist images and a thousand stone pagodas, so they might have existed untill the early period of the Joseon dynasty.
most of these buddhist images show a similar style such as flat and folksy facial features, stone pillar-shaped bodies, awkward and unsymmetrical arms and hands, rough and regular wrinkles of the clothes, thickly faced stones, and these areunique style of the buddhist images in unjusa. Beside typical stone pagodas, there are unusual pagodas such as globular-shaped pagoda and disc-shaped pagodas, and every pagoda has different style.
Also, there is a mysterious mystery that can not compare with various symbols and patterns and compare with other temples. There are many tourists coming to visit unjusa, and they to make the history and culture of the unjusa available in real life. I felt the need for a ceramic culture products design containing unique images of unjusa.
It is widely used as a cultural souvenir sold in everyday life, and it is hoped that one can easily convey the value of our culture in everyday life.
