Abstract

The purpose of this study aimed to verify the mediated effect of Ambivalence over Emotional Expressiveness in the effect of Covert Narcissism on Cyber Verbal Bullying . For this purpose, I carried out a survey targeting 400 men and women university students located in Gwangju. I used questionnaires as a tool : Covert Narcissism Scale, Ambivalence over Emotional Expressiveness Scale, Cyber Verbal Bullying Scale. Collected data were analyzed by SPSS 23. The research findings were as follows: First, There is relevant correlation coefficient between Covert Narcissism, Ambivalence over Emotional Expressiveness and Cyber Verbal Bullying. Second, this study showed that Ambivalence over Emotional Expressiveness mediated partially in the effect of Covert Narcissism on Cyber Verbal Bullyingn. In the effect of Covert Narcissism on Romantic relationship dissatisfaction, Evaluative concerns perfection plays a role as a mediator variable so that it should understand psychological traits of Convert Narcissist and gives implications of therapeutic intervention. In conclusion, limitations of this study and suggestions for future studies were discussed.
