- Abstract
- The main purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of strong organizational culture on organizational citizenship behavior, the influence of fit between person and organizations on organizational citizenship behavior, and the influence of the interaction between strong organizational culture and individuals’ fit with it on organizational citizenship behavior. With 255 employees from 16 Korean corporate as the subjects, a questionnaire survey is conducted. In the end, 165 questionnaires are collected, 158 of which are used for analytical investigation. The results are as follows:
1. In the study of the relationship between strong organizational culture and organizational citizenship behavior, the result shows that strong organizational culture had a positive (+) effect on organizational citizenship behavior, i.e. the stronger employees perceive the strong organizational culture, the higher the probability is that employees conduct organizational citizenship behavior.
2. In the study of the relationship between the fit between person-organizations and organizational citizenship behavior, the result shows that fit between employee and organization had a positive (+) effect on organizational citizenship behavior, i.e. the higher that employees think the compatibility between person- organizations is, the higher the probability is that employees conduct organizational citizenship behavior.
3. In the study of the relationship between strong organizational culture and the fit between person-organizations and organizational citizenship behavior, had no significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior.
In the conclusion of the research, some points based on the research findings and the limitations of the research are elaborated.
