초기 청소년이 지각한 모의 과보호 및 자기성찰지능이 우울에 미치는 영향

Abstract

The purpose of this study was investigate the effects of maternal overprotection perceived by early adolescence and intrapersonal intelligence on depression, and examine the independent influence of intrapersonal intelligence on depression except for the effect of maternal overprotection perceived by early adolescence. The subject of this study were 405 students in the 5th and 6th grade of elementary school in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeollanam-do, Participants responded to three measures : (a) maternal overprotection perceived by early adolescence Scale, (b) Intrapersonal Intelligence Scale, (c) Korea-Children's Depression Inventory. The collected data was analyzed with pearsons's correlation, multiple regression, simple regression and hierarchical regression by SPSS 23.0 statistics program. The results of this study were as follows: Frist, as a result of multiple regression analysis to prove the influence of maternal overprotection on depression, when early adolescence perceived maternal overprotection as more ‘expectation and protection’, it plays negative impacts on the early adolescence’s depression. But, when early adolescence perceived as ‘regulation, interference and affection’, there is no impacts on the depression. Second, as a result of simple regression analysis to prove the influence of intrapersonal intelligence on depression, intrapersonal intelligence had sigificant effects on depression. Third, intrapersonal intelligence had dependent influence additionally on depression on depression. The result of study confirmed that early adolescence's perception of maternal overprotection and intrapersonal intelligence are important variables in respect of depression. Consequently, the result of this study is verified the importance of maternal overprotection perceived by early adolescence and intrapersonal intelligence on early adolescence's depression. Specifically, by founding out that intrapersonal intelligence showed independent influence on early adolescence's depression beyond variance explained by maternal overprotection perceived by early adolescence, it provided the basis of prevention and psychological therapy for early adolescence's depression.
