인지적 정서조절 전략 유형에 따른 외상 후 스트레스 증상 심각도의 차이: 비임상집단을 중심으로

Abstract

Many people experiences the trauma in there lives. And recent research has emphasized the importance ofCognitive Emotion Regulation(CER) in posttraumatic stress symptoms(PTSS). This study examined the unique effects of cognitive emotion regulation on PTSS. This study surveyed 300 20s in Gwangju area to investigate the correlation between gender, depression, anxiety, stress symptoms, cognitive emotion regulation strategies(both adaptive and maladaptive), PTSS severity. This study assessed CER and investigated whether there were specific profiles of CER using cluster analysis. The subject of this study can be clustered into three different CER groups: Indiscriminate CER group(I-CER) which use both adaptive and maladaptive CER, Poor CER group(P-CER) which use neither adaptive nor maladaptive CER, and finally adaptive CER(A-CER) group which use more adaptive CER than maladaptive one. ANOVA analysis showed that PTTS severity of I-CER was higher than both P-CER and A-CER. And the most severe symptom type was reexperience regardless of 3 CER group types. These results highlight how I-CER offer a more complete understanding of the ways CER can account for PTSS severity. These results suggest the importance of cognitive interventions as well as enhancing understanding of emotions, in order to mitigate PTSS severity traumatized 20s and to prevent posttraumatic stress disorder.
