황산구리 담체를 이용한 조류제거에 관한 연구

Abstract
Water eutrophication has become a worldwide environmental problem in recent years, and it is the one of the most challenging environmental problems in the world. Algae problems are usually caused by an overabundance of nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorous).
Blue-green algae (or cyanobacteria) are aquatic organisms which have some properties that are characteristic of bacteria and some that are characteristic of plants. The method of Blue-green algae controls are studying by many researchers. Currently The solutions of blue-green algae control are spraying Loess, using of algal fence, dissolving the copper sulfate and spraying it onto the water surface, electron beam irradiation.
But these methods involve problem, like Loess including heavy metals, requring periodic back washing and maintenance with algal fence, toxic of the copper sulfate. Consequently, this study was decided to make the Media with loess copper sulfate.
In this study, loess media's optimum condition was firing temperature 600℃, Cu/media weight 30mg. pumice media's optimum condition was firing temperature 105℃, 0.5M CuSO4 5H2O. loess media's dissolute concentration was 1007.3mg/L. pumice media's dissolute concentration was 453mg/L.
To survey Chl-a removal amount by media's unit weight, in the case of Chl-a 63.41mg/m3, 24hr, loess media's removal efficiency was 88.59% and removal amount was 2.34mgㆍChl-a/1gㆍmedia. in the case of Chl-a 63.41mg/m3, 5hr pumice media's removal efficiency was 91% and removal amount was 11.6mgㆍChl-a/1gㆍmedia. To maintain Chl-a concentration 74.21mg/m3 and Cu concentration 0.4mg/L, in the case of rate of inflow 0.63L/hr, loess media's removal efficiency was 90%, pumice media 89%, mixture of loess media and pumice media 90%. To maintain Chl-a concentration 30~50mg/m3, 60~80mg/m3 Cu concentration 0.4mg/L, in the case of rate of inflow 0.63L/hr, Chl-a initial concentration 30~50mg/m3, loess media‘s removal efficiency was 90%, pumice media 91.6%, mixture of loess media and pumice media 90.5%. in the case of Chl-a concentration 60~80mg/m3, loess media's removal efficiency was 89%, pumice media 89.6%, mixture of loess media and pumice media 89.7%. To maintain Cu concentration 0.4mg/L with reactor of effective capacity 15L, in the case of rate of inflow 0.63L/hr, loess media's dwell time was 120hr, pumice media's dwell time was 24hr. loess media's dwell time was longer than pumice media.
