업무환경 변화에 따른 스마트워크센터 공간특성 연구

Abstract

The interest on smart work has been spread in accordance with the emphasis of working environment which could balance among business, personal life and the way to solve social problems such as low birth rate, aging society, and low economic growth. The introduction of smart work has changed the fixed way to deal with office job. As the introduction of smart work makes it possible to do real time remote working and worker`s working method has also been changed, the plan for office space should be changed either. But the plan for space organization and arrangement in offices has not been able to follow the change of working environment. The study for office space is continually demanded and it must be practiced in the rapidly changing society like Korea ,IT powerhouse. Therefore, the present study will draw the characteristics of smart work center according to the change of working environment. The present study will contribute to effective space organization which can improve work performance and help to form new human network. It will also try to be a basic data research which contributes to foundation for the characteristics of smart work center. the characteristics of smart work center appearing in accordance with the change of working environment are analyzed in spatial perspectives and in programmatic perspectives, the spatial perspectives consists of non-territorial characteristic, multipurpose characteristic, and openness, the programmatic perspectives consists of sociality, connectivity, and affordance, and ten cases of smart work centers located in Seoul are analyzed and the characteristics are arranged as follows. The first, smart work centers has non-territorial characteristic which destroys the border between business and rest. The non-territorial space discards the old style work space, provides with relaxation and communication, and enhances users` efficiency. The second, smart work centers need to equip various furniture and variable constituent for users, more systematic furniture and functional factors should be induced when introducing smart work centers. The third, smart work centers increases users` visual openness. Old closed and divided work spaces and conference spaces has renovated using glass, and the existing spaces are combined or expanded. visual openness has increased users` communication. The fourth, the characteristic for human network is to enhance communication and satisfaction. More spaces is in need to practice more temporary programs, experience, and activities. The fifth, the real time conference between users` decreases efficiency of work, so systematic spaces is in need. Finally, various spaces should be prepared such as individual lockers, cafeterias, training rooms, lounges for baby care and preschool children according to various welfare system. Smart work centers could eventually perform a role as the space for the unemployed which is useful for economic activities, so they show differences like opening the boarder between spaces, separating spaces with flooring arrangements, and arranging lower lockers. Further studies should be performed on multipurpose characteristic and it has to be induced in space plan. Smart work centers are still restricted in capital area so the project should expand its invest on nationwide scale for the rest of the people. Present study is limited in spatial perspectives, so further study considering technical perspective could be performed to utilize smart work centers successfully.
