현대 사회의 자기소외에 관한 회화적 패러독스

본 논문은 본인의 회화적 재현에 대한 과정을 연구하고자 현대인의 자기소외적 일상의 특징들을 고찰한다. 현대 프랑스의 철학자 앙리 르페브르는 일상성의 가장 위대한 측면을 그 완강한 지속성에 있다고 말하였으며, 일상성에 대해서‘모든 것을 블랙홀처럼 빨아들여 무심한 듯 힘없는 듯 완만하게 제 갈 길을 가는 그 완강한 지속성’이라고 묘사하였다. 현대사회의 일상은 변함없이 지루하고 그 어느 것도 새로울 것이 없는 지금에 도달했다. 우리는 이 사회 속에서 어떠한 충격적인 사건이 일어나더라도 결국엔 다시 우리의 일상 속으로 돌아오는 것을 반복하고 있다. 그렇기 때문에 현대인은 사회 구성원중 하나로서 주관적인 자신의 기준을 세우기도 전에 거대한 사회 시스템과 목적을 상실한 경쟁 구도 속에서 자신의 위치를 세워야 하는 커다란 부담감(자기소외와 같은) 을 쉽게 느끼기 마련이다. 본 논문의 전반부는 일상성과 자기소외에 관한「현대세계의 일상성」이라는 앙리 르페브르(Henri Lefebvre,1901~1991)의 저서 내용을 바탕으로 한 이론적 접근이라고 할 수 있다. 이 장에서는 현대인의 자기소외적인 일상과 그에 따른 일상성에 관한 특징들을 살펴보고 이러한 일상 속에서 과거와 현재의(본인작품 중심으로) 패러독스적인 현대회화가 탄생했음을 증명하려 한다. 본 논문에서 언급되는 일상생활과 소외에 대한 연구는 이미 1920년대와 1930년대 프랑스 지성계에 만연되었던 위기를 극복 하려는 과정에서 르페브르 등 소장학자들에 의해 그 이론이 점차 완성되어 갔다. 본 논문에서는 지금 우리 사회속의 현대인의 자기소외와 불안, 욕망 등 일상과 관련된 여러 가지 특징들을 소외를 통해 연구하였으며, 본 논문의 후반부에서 언급되는 초현실주의 미술에서 이와 같은 일상 속에서의 소외에 대한 극복으로써 현대미술적인 접근을 시도했던 초현실주의 대표적인 작가의 삶과 예술성을 연구한다. 그리고 그러한 영향으로 인해 팝아트에서도 역설과 도발을 소재로 한 설치미술이나 회화작업들이 등장한 것 에 대해서도 살펴보고자 한다. 현대인의 자기소외적 일상의 이론적 연구와 자기소외적 감정을 통해 나타나는 회화적 패러독스(Paradox, 역설, 모순)을 다양한 관점으로 살펴보고, 이에 대한 결과로써 본인의 회화작업에서 자기소외나 상실감과 같은 감정에 대한 재현이 어떠한 형식과 내용으로 조형적 요소를 이루는지에 대해 연구하였다. 본인 작품에서 나타나는 현대사회 속 인간의 고독과 고립, 상실감은 바로 일상에서 비롯된 것이며, 그러한 사실을 재현하기에 앞서 초현실주의에 자주 사용되었던 인간과 일상적 사물오브제의 결합이 본인 작품의 중요한 소재로 작용한다. 개인적 경험에 의한 내면의식의 모노톤 재현은 우리의 일상에 가장 밀접하게 닿아있으면서도 스스로 외면하고 감추어왔던 감정을 드러내는 역할과 동시에 관객들에게 그것들과 스스로를 직면하게 하는 데 궁극적인 목표가 있다. 인간은 허무함과 상실감 그리고 좌절과 불안을 내면에 모두가 가지고 있다. 그것은 개인마다 다양한 방식으로 표출되어 일상 속에 나타난다. 본인은 이런 감정들의 원인에 대한 본인의 철학적 관심과 사유를 회화적 패러독스로서 자기소외, 그리고 인간과 일상사물의 역설적 결합으로서 재현한다. 그리고 사실주의적인 인간의 얼굴표정을 통해 인간본성에 해당하는 소외와 고립, 불안과 위기의식을 나타내며 현대인의 자기소외를 상징한다. 흑백은 오랫동안 어두움과 과거를 상징하는 소재로 사용되어왔다. 하지만 본인은 작품속의 흑백에서 나타난 회화적 특성과 그 대안으로서의 재료적 활용에 대해 연구하였으며 본인의 작품에서 관객에게 어두운 현실을 직시하고 상처를 딛고 일어나 새로운 미래를 도약하고자 하는 메시지를 전달하고자 한다. 그리하여 본 연구가 현대인의 일상과 자기소외적 감정에 대한 재인식과 소통에 대해서, 그리고 각 개인의 정체성을 다시금 생각하는 계기가 되기를 희망한다.|Abstract Park Da Hye Paradoxical pictorialization on the self-alienation of modern society

This paper examines the characteristics of modern man's self alienating characteristics as a personal process of research into pictorial reproductions of modern society. Contemporary French Philosopher, Henri Lefebvre, is known to have said "The greatest aspect of everydayness is the stubborn persistence that is like a black hole sucking up everything, indifferent to all." We live in a society where, even if some traumatic events were to occur sometime in our lives, we all eventually return back to our daily lives at some point, in repetition again. Therefore, modern man, as a member of society, before one is able to establish their own subjective criterion for one self, it's easy to feel at a loss and a burden for the endless competition of modern society. The first half of this paper is the theoretical approach, to prove the concept of everydayness and self alienating occurrences in modern times. In this chapter of modern life and the resulting external everyday self alienations, how these feature the past and present in everyday life. (based on personal works and pictorial representations) Mentioned in this paper, research on everyday life and self-alienation, in the 1920s and 1930s, this crisis of self alienation was already rampant amongst the French Intellectuals of this period, while Lefebvre and the young scholars gradually completed and the theory. Modern society's self-alienation and anxiety, desire and alienation of everyday occurrences related research through a variety of features that were mentioned in the latter part of this paper. Also surrealist art and techniques for overcoming the alienation in daily lives and its approach and influences of Pop Art, Installation Art, and different types of materials that were used will also be discussed and examined. Through the research of modern man's self-alienating tendencies and emotions, Various diversified paintings, and pictorial techniques were discussed and examined, and led to self-discoveries on how these elements make up a formative harmony. The feelings of human solitude, isolation, and loss stem from the ordinary and, prior to that, the fact that reproduce human surrealism has been used quite frequently in combination of objects and things in my day-to-day works, and serves as important material. By personal experience of the inner consciousness of black and white monotone reproduction is most closely related to our day-to-day contact with the outside while hiding their own role and at the same time revealing the emotions to the audience to face themselves and their ultimate goals. Emptiness, feelings of Loss, frustration, and anxiety are all instilled within all of us, and it is expressed in different ways for each individuals in their daily lives. My philosophical interest and inquiries are represented as paradoxical pictorial representations of self alienation and combinations of the ordinary, mundane, everyday objects and realism of facial expressions that correspond to the self alienating and isolating human nature is symbolized. Black and white has long been a symbol of the past and darkness. I have instead focused on the alternative characteristics and utilization of these pictorial techniques to bring forth messages of positive light and inspirations. Therefore, i strongly hope that this will be the wakeup call to face our realities of self alienating nature in this modern society and really examine our true nature.
